I'm a watch person, so I have no problem reading a standard clockface on a "real" watch, but for some reason I am incapable of parsing it when represented on an LCD. So, I've been using the Modular face with date and 24h time as the top two complications, the move/exercise/stand block for the central complication, and weather, timer, and battery along the bottom.

Other than for timers, the only use I ever had for the seconds hand on a regular watch was to try to make it as accurate as possible when setting the time. With a timer available in a single tap and the Watch updating the time by itself, I haven't once felt the need to see the seconds, and doubt I ever will.

However, not allowing it as an option on the digital faces still seems an odd choice. I guess they're assuming (IMO, correctly) that most people have no need for it, but the option should be there for those who would like it.
