iCloud.com Website Updated, No Longer in "Beta"

Will I be able to do it from scratch or will I have to add @me.com e-mail to my existing (non-MobileMe) Apple ID?
You need an iPhone or iPad with iOS 5, or a Mac running Lion. Edit: You can download an iCloud control panel for Windows but I don't think it will do you much good unless you have an iDevice capable of working with iCloud. Can anybody clarifying this?
Is this why my mobileme has been messed up all week?
I'm glad it's finally here, however for the first time I've finally smartened up an decided to wait to upgrade my email and itunes match at the first possible second. I've learned my lesson from mobileme to wait to see how everyone else does before I tempt fate with my email and music being eaten.

I have had access since the ios5gm was released. Its a nice feature but nothing to get too excited about tbh.
It would be nice if there was some function like drop box included but that doesnt seem to be the case.

I am fairly sure iOS 5's release is scheduled for the afternoon of October 12th, West Coast USA time.
I know, it's confusing to read message boards when people say "Today" and "Tomorrow" when they are 6, 10 or 12 hours away from your timezone.
People who are saying "Today" are probably East Coast USA folks (as it's already October 12th for them.)

BTW Australian Itunes will now let you download Purchased music on your devises. This went live this afternoon as well!!!!! So happy , was desperate for this to work in Australia!

no way of merging apple ID's
What would happen if you were to go to https://appleid.apple.com and change your gmail ID to your me.com address? Would it just reject it as the me.com one is already an Apple ID?
Works for me! Running the iOS 5 GM though. But tbh, it's not that exciting. I don't have a .me address, I already know who my contacts are and where my phone is, I don't use the Calendar for events (though I should probably start), and I don't own iWork for iOS.

so what if i got gmail as my primary email adress on my apple id (for itunes purchases etc) and me.com as my secondary new email? i assume the gmail is just for my itunes purchases and i still get all the mails i send to me.com? or will i get mails sent to me.com also on gmail?
stupid question but i never used icloud or mobile me before, that linking stuff is confusing ^^

Most of the confusion is being caused by 2 things.
A. A lot of people have downloaded IOS illegally and can thus see the iCloud stuff.
B people that don't have IOS 5 are listening to the people that downloaded it illegally.
If you are in category A and you have problems it serves you right.
If you are in category B stop listening to the people in category A
Everyone else just wait for IOS 5 and OSX 10.7.2 to be released tomorrow .
