Does anyone know how secure this is? Can I trust Windows to have a copy of all my passwords even though it is encrypted :p
Your dental office, customer service rep for literally every thing you own and government all do so its safe to say you'll be ok.

Same, I'm thinking maybe they pulled it until Google approves the extension on the Chrome web store. I think you can still use the standalone version which tends to get updates faster.
I went through the process of removing 11.6 and downloading it again through the MS App Store hoping 12.0 would come through, not luck.

I have had issues with the standalone versions and I think they are old and not supported anymore. Seems MS App Store is the only way. I'm all Apple except for my work machine, but iCloud for Windows has been nothing but buggy. Contacts don't sync with Outlook which is where I do most of my Contact work on the Windows machine. So I am left with Outlook iCloud contacts viewable on my Windows box but not my phone, same for adding on an iPhone and not showing in Outlook. Don't get me started on Bookmark sharing using Chrome on Windows and the iCloud extension.

I’ve started using this on my Windows laptop with Chrome and I have some questions...

1) This lets me use passwords saved in iCloud Keychain on Chrome but it doesn’t auto update the saved Chrome password? So how can I get Chrome to update the password?

2) Why does the Chrome extension constantly pop-up a numbers code that I need to input into the extension before I can pick the password to fill in Chrome? Can that be turned off?

After playing with this some more, additional observations:

1) It doesn't appear to allow you to create Keychain passwords in Chrome, just use ones that were created on your iOS device.

2) It strips Chrome of its ability to generate unique passwords or save new passwords when signing up to a new site. (Also, how was it I *just* learned that Chrome can generate unique passwords!?)

OK, so after playing with this for a month, I think I'm going to uninstall or disable the extension until Apple decides to make it more user friendly. The utility of it on Chrome is super limited by the fact that it ALWAYS wants me to enter a six digit PIN on every website to enable the extension to pull a saved Keychain password. And, it can't actually generate new passwords on Chrome. And the fact that Safari on my iPhone/iPad can pull a saved Chrome password through Keychain means I'm probably better off having Chrome generate new passwords for use on my iDevices than generating new passwords in Safari/Keychain and then having to enter PIN numbers to use those passwords on my PC.

You should really check out One Password. Works across all platforms and browsers and worth every penny. I have the iCloud extension on Chrome for my windows box, but it's only purpose is to access, save and sync bookmarks.
