Unfortunately, there are also two more parts to this video that are just as bad and even worse.

What the f*ck is wrong with that kid?!?!?!?
I sent him a message on Facebook and I emailed his mom.
Anybody wanna call?

This stuff scares the **** out of me. How could anybody do this ****? This kid deserves an eye for an eye. He deserves to be microwaved along with his friend.

Me either.. that's why in the morning I'm calling this office ...
And that's exactly the course of action one should take if they feel the need to get involved.

Harassing the kid/family by means of phone, address, or internet is not only immature, but possibly criminal.

Other than reporting it to the proper authorities, it's simply not our place to become involved.

Wow, the stupidity of some people.

I see this video being labeled "Exhibit A" in the near future.

This looked fake to me .. I mean, yes the cat was scared but I don't think the punches were real - there was no pepper spray.. it was water. I'm a cat lover so don't jump on me.. but this just looks like it was all staged and an attention - seeking gimmick.

Anyone think the same? A cat would react in a completely different manner if really harmed (hiss, run the heck away, meow non stop, etc)

No, not necessarily. If it has been abused long enough, it may just stop fighting for its protection.

I think I'll take my chance, along with all the other people that have done it.
What's wrong with hopefully making this kids life a little more miserable for doing something horrific?
And who the hell are you to tell me that I am immature for calling/emailing him? At least I am taking a very strong stance against this kid,
and not laughing at the whole thing.

Exactly. I've emailed him mom, twice.
I've also emailed the City of Lawton, Oklahoma Animal Welfare Division Home.
And I've sent him a message on Facebook. I'm really tempted to call.
If I lived in Oklahoma I would come to his house.

Thanks for the link, just sent them the same email I sent to the Local Police and the local ASPCA.

Care to copy/paste the email you sent?
Here's the one I sent to animalwelfare@cityof.lawton.ok.us,
"Urgent attention needed! You may have heard about this kid before but it's gotten way out of hand. This kid Kenny Glenn is abusing his poor cat Dusy, like crazy.
Here is proof and contact information:

I sort of agree with this. If you go to far in calling and emailing it could be considered harassment and you lower yourself to the illegal actions that this kid did. But, the statement "it's simply not our place to become involved" is a poor reaction. This is why women are told to yell "fire" when they are being raped, because people don't want to involve themselves, why kids get brutally abused because people don't want to involve themselves. We have become a nation, heck, a world of people who don't want to get involved.

If more people would just get involved a little more maybe this world could change for the better...

It undermines our entire legal system and right to due process, including the presumption of innocence, the right to a fair trial, the right to an impartial jury of peers, and protection from cruel and unusual punishment.

So I got a number that isn't posted on the City of Lawton, Oklahoma website and they were able to pick up the phone. 580 581 3273

Thank God the lady told me that they have already gotten this report several times tonight!

Just in case the video is no longer available here is information

<snip>

This video shows a child around 14 years of age hooded abusing his cat, violently hitting, punching, throwing it against a wall. The information above was provided on the website in question.
