Referral Promotion Cards (help Please)

Ok I have 2 $25 cards I figured sweet I save $50 this month on my bill. I tried paying it but AT&T won't accept them. :rolleyes: I think this might be because I have combined Billing but not sure any advice I rather pay my bill then get a new over priced accessory from the AT&T store.

When you enter the card information did you select "gift card" as the type of card?

could I just put in referrer's phone number when I register?

what if the referrer doesn't have referral program account set up, would it still work?

How does this work with a family plan? We have 4 lines possibly switching to AT&T soon when the contract on the last one is up this month...
