Pleased to see 4.7" storming ahead.

I was pleasantly surprised by the HTC One when I briefly used it in store. Liked its form very much.

It's the absolute maximum size I'd want in a phone though.

4.7" would be the largest I'd want to see. In my opinion Apple should change how they have their iPhone offerings because people want different sizes. Maybe something like 4", 4.3" and 4.7" to offer people that variety of screen sizes. Don't really know how that would work with the resolution for apps though but it would be nice.

4.3 to 4.5 max, using galaxy s4 for the past month and more and more finding difficult to use with one hand. Thinking of getting iphone 5 back.

A 9.7" phone to make everyone elses phone look smaller and for loose girls to gravitate towards me. :apple:

4.7 sounds big. Perhaps 4.3 or 4.5 would keep the one handed operation while enlarging the screen.

They could make a 4.7 inch screen without changing the physical proportions of the phone very much. They would just need to make the phone slightly wider and taller, and minimize the side and top/bottom bezels.

The more difficult decision is whether they would make the phone UI bigger keeping the same proportions of the 5s, or would they increase the viewable resolution to fit more information on the screen.

I'd much prefer if Apple would increase the screen resolution so it could fit more in the screen. A bigger iPhone wouldn't interest me if it didn't have more screen real-estate - I don't want a blown-up iPhone 5s.

The Moto X is 4.7", feels great in the hand and is marginally larger than the 5S. The size difference is negligible.

5.7" would be a behemoth and unpleasant.

I voted 4.7". I want larger screen but 5.7" is just ridiculous! Honestly I don't know how people fit them in their jeans pocket.

I hope it increases, been using the GS4 lately and it feels absolutely great for media and gaming. I still love my iphone5 and am eagerly waiting for my 5s to be delivered, but if the 6 does not give me the benefit of a larger screen i might just switch phones and get a Galaxy S5 or whichever android phone feels good at that time.

A iphone 6 with 4.7 inch IGZO display an A8 Processor and 2-3 gb or RAM would be something that I will willingly pony up a 100 extra dollars for :) compared to a 4 inch Iphone 6 (IF both are offered)

Id probably like the 4.7 best but I'd go with the biggest because it would make me feel like I got the higher quality phone.

I'll choose my iphone 5s anytime if the smallest they offer onwards are almost as big as an ipad mini. I'm not going to play ping pong with a damn phone.

Screen width is the issue for me. Tall and narrow just doesn't do it for me, and I have not bought the 5S because of that.

I'm leaning towards a 4.7" myself. I don't need anything as obnoxiously large as some of those phablets already out & have to agree; if Apple comes out with a 5.7", it's not goin' in my pocket.

I would have to look at the new phone to see if it is something that I would be interested in switching to a bigger screen. Also, the new software will play a part in that decision too. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what Apple has developed for the next generation of iPhones

I want to keep a 4-inch screen.

I like the small screen, it's one of the reasons I *have* an iPhone.

Coming from a person that has owned a Galaxy Note 1, 2 Galaxy Note 2's, HTC One MAX and every other flagship Android phone. I would say 4.7" would be sweet for the next iPhone, but I say that with a qualifier. If they can get it like the Moto X, as others have said, it will be great. I absolutely love the Note 2, but eventually you get tired of lugging something of that size around. And one handed use is something that is important to me. I can force myself to get by without using one hand, but honestly it is so much more convenient. Also, while you're out and about, it's a lot easier to shove the moto x size phone + case in your pocket than a Note 2 + case, or in my situation I had an Anker 6200 mah batter, modded Otterbox Defender, and Note 2..... :p

Seriously though, I would actually buy full price off contract (Verizon Unlimited user) for a 4.7" iPhone in Moto X sizing. They can keep their phablet. I think I got the extremely large sized phones out of my system finally.

ETA: One thing, and this just may be me, but if Apple releases a phablet sized phone, it will cut into their iPad sales. When you have a phone like a Note or similar, you find it really negates the need for a tablet and a phone. It's that happy medium between the two, which IS convenient.
