Moving on from my 12 Pro Max 256 GB to the 16 Pro Max 256 GB

Making the move due to the battery update, significant camera improvements and as I get older, the slightly bigger screen and Pro-motion should be a welcome addition as well.

I have been rocking an XS Max 256GB, since they were released.

Every year since probably 2020 I said I would upgrade, but I either get distracted with other hobbies, travel, life, etc., and look up, and it's Spring. Then I tell myself I'm close enough to September to wait.

Well, I'm here again, I still haven't ordered anything because the other thing I do is wait for the hype to relax to when I can stroll into Apple and buy it outright.

Let's see if I remember this year.

Upgrading from a 14 Pro to a 16 Pro Max… after having the Plus/Max size since the 7 (other than iPhone X) I thought I’d have been ok with the smaller screen but I wish I’d been patient and just got the 14 Max for the size and better battery life. Its the first time I have kept one for 2 years too so gone back for the bigger one. Can’t wait for Friday

My wife is upgrading from a 15 Pro Max. A perfectly good phone that works just fine that for whatever reason she saw the new one has gold and it was like hey we need that. Sure why not spend $1200 just for a new color of a phone that you’re gonna slap a case on anyway?
Time for you to upgrade to a new wife!

Upgrading from 14 Pro Max. Camera / Video features are the main reason, but also because the deep purple color was disappointing and I'm tired of looking at it; also upgrading from 256GB to 1TB. I usually upgrade every few years regardless. I went with Desert Titanium, but was very tempted to get white.

My 14 Pro Max has had crappy battery life so you didn't miss out on much; I got mine like about a month or so after launch. I want to upgrade to the 16 Pro Max but I'll wait a bit and see how the reviews/early impressions from people here shake out.

14PM 256 to 16PM 256

1. USB C
2. AI (soon)
3. Larger screen
4. Smaller bezels
5. Lighter phone
6. Basically same size phone
7. Additional battery life
8. Tired of dark space black and REALLY looking forward to natural titanium

Going from a 15 Pro Max Natural Titanium 512GB to a 16 Pro Max 512GB in either Natural Titanium or Black Titanium, I haven't decided yet. I have both on preorder. I really like the Natural Titanium colour but I am debating on whether I will feel like I haven't upgraded :) Complete first world problems

Upgrading to a 16PM 256 from a 14PM 256. But I'm trading in a 12PM 256 that my son has been using and I'm using his line for the upgrade. He'll get the 14PM for now and then he'll get the 16pm next year or the following.

I’m with three. I’ve been with them for years so whenever I upgrade with them, i always ask for any additional discount they can offer as a long time customer, so they took it from £89 down to £85 (£4 discount) and then I paid £85 up front , taking the monthly payments down to £81. So if you take the cost of the phone out, it works out my sim plan is around £17 ish a month for unlimited everything.
Oh I thought you were with EE

Upgrading from 11 Pro Max to 16 Pro Max and wife will get the 16 upgrading from the X.
There is no specific reason to upgrade, the old ones are still working fine, nothing important missing.
Maybe it is the camera button for me.

I am upgrading from a 15 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max. I use my phone a lot to capture photos and videos so the camera control and 120 FPS Video alone was enough for me. With that said I upgrade annually because u can usually sell my prior phone for enough to basically get the new phone for free. Been doing it since the original iPhone.

Upgrading from 14 PM because of battery, screen size, color, weight.
Normally I upgrade every year but somehow didn't last year.

14PM 128 to 16PM 256, reason; three contract ended don’t want to do an upgrade in their programme, wanted to buy outright as I always used to do, bigger screen, smaller bezels, slightly lighter in weight, upcoming annual birthday present to myself, USB C charging, desert colour lighter than my deep purple just loved reminiscent of other iPhones I’ve owned, improved camera.

15 Pro Max 256 GB blue titanium to 16 Pro Max 256 Gb Black Titanium
I upgraded basically because of the screen size and the battery.
The battery on the 15 Pro Max was horrible, last week it was already at 91% health.
I notice it more fluid, the quality of the screen is very noticeable, and the 6.9 inches, and the battery is much better, the 15 Pro Max for me in terms of battery is not very good, I lasted longer the 13 Pro Max ...

14 Pro Max.

1) My battery is shot
2) the back glass is shattered
3) want to have the best possible camera to capture my 2.5yo

For the first time, I'm not upgrading due to speed issues.

I've shattered two 14 Pro Max rear glasses in extremely minor ~2 foot drops (in cases) onto smooth tile surfaces.
I've never broken an iPhone glass before even in some pretty bad drops.
Something is up with the 14 Pro Max back glass, IMO.
