You will, assuming there are no major scratches or dents.

Just put mine up on eBay today, man it makes me nervous, especially since the 3G might not be coming out for longer than me might think.

I was never really one of those people who was planning on buying the 3G, but seeing that most people are selling their iPhones for their money back (and sometimes for a profit) I figured it might be worth it... if all else fails I'll just go out with the money I make and buy a current one again.

Wooo just 5 more days and we'll see how much I get :D

i sold mine last week for $375 and i bought it for $350 refurb, I pretty much made my money back due to all of the fees and shipping and stuff, but it was good cause i just bought the refurb like month ago and i didn't want to spend $350 just when a new version was about to come out cause mine would lose its value in a matter of mere weeks. good luck guys i pretty much guarentee you'll make back what you paid for or a bit less if youve kept yours in good condition!

You set your starting bid WAYYYYY too high.

i started a new thread with this:

Just sold my 8gb on eBay in Australia for AUD$702 (US$650) i got it at the Chicago store for $399 + tax 1.1.1 otb

HELL YEAH, skip the 16gb 3G i want 32gb now

and the lol thing is i had a buy it now of $600 and a starting bid of $450, ahhh stupid people, what would we do without them?

I almost put mine on ebay, had the listing ready, but I clicked submit there was a warning that said paypal may hold on to the money until I was left positive feed back or there was no dispute for 21 days. That put me off.
Someone could buy the phone try to unlock it and brick it then say I sold a duff phone. Too cautious?

just sold my friends 8GB phone for him. He got $297 and it is being shipped to Cincinnati, Ohio. The phone had a dent on the back which is why he didn't get more for it.

It's possible, but as long as you get it in writing and only ship to the states you will be fine.

Like when I sold mine, I sent the guy an email explaining it's unlocked state and god a reply back, I also included what I emailed him in the package. That way if something like that does happen I have it in writing that they understand what not to do.

i just put mine up on ebay. i've been watching other 4gb unlocked iphones up for auction and they seem to be going for around $350 (and i saw one go for $450, and i'm not sure why that one was an anomaly, but that guy must be thrilled!) - i would be very happy with that. i'm lucky that i still have an 8gb that i bought on iday - i'm more attached to it than i'd like to admit and was planning on selling it instead of the 4gb. but, selling the 4gb should still yield enough funds to get me the 3G iphone, i hope!

I'm entertaining the idea of selling my 8gb iPhone on eBay. I want to include my white incase slider case and a set of v-moda vibe headphones. The phone also has a film protector on the screen. I don't know if I should unlock it, though...

8GB slightly used, locked and legit.
Sold the first time on eBay for $380.

That idiot didn't pay, relisted with a Buy It Now price of $375. Someone bought it for that about 2 hours later.

16 GB refurbished... $560 + shipping to Canada

That's great! Congratulations! How old was it? May I ask if it was a Buy It Now or auction? If auction, what was your starting price? I think I'm going to go ahead and sell mine, but it makes me really nervous!

Great for you, but ... I'm still trying to figure out why people would pay over retail for a used / refurbed iPhone, esp. since a new model will be out within a month.

Is it just that all these phones are headed overseas? Or do so many people not understand the market for these phones? Or am I missing something here?

looks like everyone is getting good prices, I am going to put mine up today :)
If I can get $400 I will be very happy.

I had a starting price of $500 and a buy it now of $560... if i did it again i'd probably raise the buy it now to like 575 or 580... it was about a week old... i bought it refurbished because i couldn't pass up the $350 price tag and was planning on keeping it but then i figured i could wait for 3G... goodluck

I'm going to sell my 4GB Unlocked on eBay in the next week or so, I would like to offer international shipping because I'm seeing people making much more shipping to Europe, Australia, etc.

My question is how much is it costing people to ship internationally? What would be a reasonable shipping cost to the winner?

I was thinking about making shipping free, because everyone loves to see that. Thoughts?

Thanks so much! I'll have to go lower since I have a small dent at the top left corner. :(

8GB locked - never used $465 California
8GB locked- never opened $485.00 Michigan

first one i had for 9 months, sold it on ebay for £230 + £5.00 p+p that was within the uk and the second one i sold for £330.00 plus £5.00 p+p and im looking to sell my third one soon btw both were 8gb vers

Alright, well I just put mine up.
What kinda condition were yours in?
Mine has been in a case since I got it, so I guess some junk might have gotten in it because I have a few little 1 mm sized scratches on the back. I wrote "normal wear and tear" on the auction, and included two cases. I set the starting bid at $245. Should that cover my bases?

Anybody that has already sold their iPhone on eBay, could you check out my auction and maybe PM me some feedback about how I can improve my feedback?
