i have the pink luxe and LOVE it! i got mine from ebay (bought one at the at&t store before i got the phone... then looked on ebay and found it for half the price, no tax and free shipping! not sure which person but shipping was SLOOOOOOOOOW! it shipped from 2 hours away and took 4 days to get here and they took 2 days to get it in the mail!)

i have a ps crystal film on my phone, which are more prone to bubbles, worked just fine when i tried it in the at&t store yesterday. what i usually do is press down on the phone while slipping the bottom cover on.

if you take your time, you should be fine

That's what I do when I put my Innocase on too, so it sounds like I should be ok. Thanks for the info!

Damn - that's a lot of cases! How would you compare the size and thickness of the EcoShield with the Innocase and the Luxe? The EcoShield is the other case I was considering.

I dont ever use the EcoShield. The only reason I have it is because it was $7 at a local TJ MAXX haha

It is also the thickest case I have, plus if you leave it on for a few days, I noticed it dents the crystal shield. I guess the pressure with the snap on case does that. Im just happy my screen protector went back to normal.

Wow - it actually doesn't look that thick in your pictures. Sounds like you're not a fan. Guess I made the right choice going with the Luxe.

well its really not that bulky to be honest. i bought it for the price and the blue color really.

pretty solid if it didnt crush screen protectors

yeah the luxe is better IMO

got them off ebay..4 colors for $10, it was a deal. don't remember the ebay seller but with a search, i'm sure you can find them.

i say there better because they are constructed with stronger materials. the feather feels like its wrapped in paper.

I will have to look for those. Thanks!

Anyone order this case from Amazon? Anyone order this case directly from iFrogz?

I happened to notice that the photos on each site look different from each other.

For example, here is the photo from the iFrogz site (Click "change view" to see the back). If you notice, the two pieces seem more flush with each other, and the circle lock seems larger than the Amazon case.

Here is the photo from Amazon (obviously select the back view). It seems like the two pieces are less flush and the circle lock seems smaller than the iFrogz site case.

Are the Amazon cases an older model (hence the price reduction)? Defects? Knockoffs?

I figure I'll call iFrogz and find out if no one has any insight.

Surely that is intresting

according to the Amazon one the name would indicate the seller is Ifrogz so why sell it on Amazon less there then on your own site. That would tick me off abet if I ordered direct from them only to find they sold it on amazon for cheaper. BTW with my seller i did share the info with Ifrogz on where I bought it.

Well, I decided to order the Amazon iFrogz Luxe (blue) case. For under $14 and free shipping, it's not much of a risk.

I went to an AT&T Store this afternoon (on my way home from the beach ) and they had a bunch of Luxe cases. The blue one looks amazing in person. The circle lock on the ones I saw looked more like the Amazon photos than the iFrogz website photos.

I was happy with how it looked, and figured the price is right on Amazon. If I'm happy with the blue one, I'll probably order the red one for variety.

I'm thinking of getting the Switcheasy CapsuleNeo as well, but not until I see one in person first.

EDIT: Wow, I already got an email from Amazon saying that my iFrogz case has shipped! I ordered it last night, at around 6:30 pm, and I got an email at 1 pm today- Sunday- saying that it has shipped. Glad I went with the free Supersaver Shipping. If I would have gone with faster shipping, would I have received it before I ordered it? ;)

Has anyone had a problem with the connector pieces that slide in on the sides? I like this case, but I would have to take the bottom off every night to place my iphone on the charging dock. The pieces seem very flimsy.

works fine

for me I dock it almost everyday. just be careful about dirt getting behind it.

i wont diss anyone who has this case, but i dont think this is a very good case. my friend has one and i noticed how the bezel is still exposed to damage, and that the case itself gets dirty very easily with oils from the hands and other outside sources. for those who have this case, i have no problem but i would recommend the SwitchEasy Colors case or the OtterBox Defender case (that's if you like silicone cases)

I don't have the iFrogz case yet, but here's what I'll say about why I chose it:
  • I like that the bezel is exposed, I think it looks great that way. I wouldn't say it's exposed to damage unless you're planning on shoving a knife between the case and the bezel. I had my 1st gen iPhone for almost 1.5 years, kept it naked most of the time, and then used a Cozip case which kept the bezel exposed. My bezel looked just fine after all that time.
  • My Cozip case was blue, same as the iFrogz case I chose. It was made out of the same material. It did not show any dirt or grease on it.
  • I'm not a fan of the SwitchEasy Color case- I don't like all that case that covers the front.
  • The OtterBox is just gigantic.
  • I REALLY like that iFrogz put some felt on the inside of this case. Besides the look of this case, that is the killer feature.

Can you dock the phone w/ the dock itself rather than just the cord with this case? My biggest problem w/ most of the cases I like is that you have to remove them (at least the bottom) for docking.

Just a quick follow up....

I had a few minutes, so I decided to give iFrogz a call and ask them what the difference is between the case they sell on their website and the one for sale on Amazon.

They said that the cases are the same, there is no difference. There has not been a redesign. Which means that the photo of the case on the iFrogz site is inaccurate to how the case actually looks.

She told me that iFrogz is not the seller on Amazon- which is true, Amazon is the seller (Amazon must have made a bulk order and are selling them at a discount). She also told me that the cases that are sold at AT&T stores are also the same as the cases the iFrogz website sells (and are $29.99 there as well).

I had a hands on at an AT&T store, and like what I saw.

So to sum up: if you're going to buy one, buy it from Amazon and save 47%.

Mine should arrive in the next day or two. I'm sure everyone is on the edge of their seats wondering....

Word of warning: I just bought a navy blue iFrogz over the weekend for my new 3GS. I keep my iPhone in the same pocket as my keys. In only two days I have two dings in the upper front of the case. And once dinged silver shows thru whatever color you have. While I was very happy with the look and fit of the case I don't think it will wear well.

Why would you keep your iPhone in the same pocket as sharp, scratchy, metal things?

WADR, that's not really a word of warning.... it's more like stating the most obvious consequence of an action.

Kind of like.....

Word of warning: I put my hungry cat in a cage with a slow moving mouse. The cat killed the mouse and ate it. WTF?!
