I was looking a little bit more and saw the red one at amazon for the same price, plus you get a $5 amazon mp3 credit.
It was $13.98 just last night on amazon, of course this would happen AFTER I cancel both my Amazon cases last night and buy from buy.com only to have the price come done AND this special offer! Hopefully buy.com ships it faster than amazon, and I also wonder if amazon would have matched the price since I just recently bought it.

hey...

After coming off the Casemate Signature hard leather on the 2g and 3g, I wanted something slim and solid for the 3gs. Tried a black cozip (got it under $6 and it's cool) and it was better than I thought, slim but with solid protection. Pulled the trigger for $10 on the blue that has a blurple look, really like it too.

But I've wanted to go for something also similar. The incase slider is said to be more bulky and these constant scratching issues keep coming up along with the high price so held off. And like the Insideo too but a lot of coin for the case.

Saw the green (lime) at local AT&T for $30. It seems fine but I do wonder if it will last with use. Seems somewhat fragile and I would have liked more bezel protection cover. Have gone with the awesome anti-fingerprint Steinheil so the screen cover is irrelevant.

So even though the reviews on Amazon are somewhat mixed, I like blue so pulled the trigger with this deal. Thanks for posting it.

Ribbit!

would like to know...

no problem, can't wait to get the metallic orange ifrogz luxe. it was nice and felt great too when I was in the at&t store.

it will look nice with my collection :D

(L to R) Seidio Innocase II, Agent 18 EcoShield, Incase Slider, Griffin Wave, 2 knockoff Incipio Feather cases (actually better than the Feather)

What's your take on the these cases specifically comparing the Griffin Wave to the Seidio II and the ifrogz luxe?

I'm guessing you've used all three.

Hey there,

Yes I've used and gave them all a test for a few days. I like the feel of the Wave case but it is the thickest out of all the cases. Not really good material either. The color flakes off (and i baby these cases and phone). It is now stored away. (got it at TJ MAXX for $7 for 2 cases, so I don't care :D)

Now the Innocase and Luxe are 2 thin feeling cases. Both feel great in the hand and the material is very well built. LOVE that these 2 are lines with felt in the inside. Phone slides in smoothly. Cutouts are perfect on both. As much as I like these 2 cases, I am sticking with my Charcoal Incase Slider full time.

The Innocase (with its tabs to slide in) is much easier to take apart than the Luxe. If you dock your phone like I do, the Luxe is just a pain to take apart because the tabs are so fragile. My Anti-Glare protector is aligned perfect and it still caused tiny bubbles on the bottom. It wasn't much, but it took a few days for the screen protector to go back to normal. The Innocase didn't have this problem.

Also, the extra cutout around the volume rocker bugged me. I knew about it, but wanted to see it for myself

So, out of the 3, this is how I would rank them

1. Innocase
2. Luxe
3. Wave

Hope this helped ;)

That's a really good deal for the red one, I may order it just to have an extra color choice and to get another $5 mp3 credit.

BTW, the $5 mp3 credit came with the blue one when I ordered last week, so that isn't a new offer unless it wasn't offered with the red one until now.

It looks like they "dropped" the price on the blue one too, but it is being sold by a different seller (not Amazon), is no longer available for Free Super Saver Shipping, and no longer comes with the $5 mp3 credit. It is listed at $10.98, but when you click on it, it's listed at $13.96. Sneaky.....

i'm off to the post office to ship some cases...anyone wanna buy an orange luxe i have? you can paypal me $15 and your case can be in the mail within the hour!

pm me hurry!

Hate to say this, but $15 is kind of expensive when you can get it for $12 on amazon and buy.com, but of course your shipping might be different.

Yup....

Yeah, that's cool. At some point I may take a closer look at the incase slider and innocase. I'm curious about the bamboo sliders. Nothing you said it altogether surprising. I found out in the interim that the Griffin Wave is acrylic. And the reports on paint peeling is pretty bad. I'm a polycarbonate slim type of guy.

ribbit, ribbit :p

Well, I got mine. So far, so good. It's a very sharp-looking case, the blue almost seems like it glows.
The iPhone fits nice and tight in the case. The felt sticker on the inside of mine is off-centered, but it seems to protect the back just fine. I've put the iPhone in and taken it out a few times just to see what would happen, and no sign of any scratches or marks on the back from that.

So far, I would recommend it, but let's see how it holds up over the next week or so.
