They are giving Apple so much material for new Apple ads that we should see some really funning new "I'm a MAC" commercials soon. I can't wait for the one where MAC walks in unannounced on PC and catches him trying to make a commercial using Adobe software on a MAC.

Haha, you should submit that as an Ad idea to Apple. Hell, email it straight to sjobs!

And yet PCs are in use by 98% of the world.

Somehow, I don't think Microsoft care about this bit of non-news.

As well as several celebs hired to portray PCs including Eva Longoria Parker, Pharrell Williams, Deepak Chopra, astronaut Bernard Harris, and not to mention, Jerry Seinfeld, who all use a Mac.

Traders, I will boycott all films, literature or any work by these sellouts.

MAC addresses can be whole applications? Adobe software, even? Wow, you learn something everyday!

Looks like Crispin Porter + Bogusky did some house cleaning last night as well.

Yesterday their Interactive Jobs page listed the following for their Design Technologist / Interactive Designer (Boulder, CO) position:

Now it reads...

You can still (as of 9/19/08) find the original "Wise up and get a Mac" version on an alternate version of the Crispin Porter + Bogusky site...

The http://www.cpbgroup.com/i-jobs.html was edited.
The http://cpbgroup.com/i-jobs.html was not.

Awesome . . . funny . . . yeah, that's just awesome!

I love this whole situation.

P.S. I'm a PC, because I love that my computer takes 15 minutes to boot up? :p

Well without giving too much away I can tell you that all of HP's advertising (in my country anyway) is done on macs. Always make me laugh. Not too surprising though. Now if Bill gates himself was busted using a mac, THAT would be a story. :D

I wouldn't be surprised if his main computer is actually a Mac that he spent lots of money on to disguise it as a PC:D

it all makes me laugh!

but yeah, being the supergeek that I am, I checked the image myself and either the article is lying, or they changed the image properties because it now says "Software: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Windows".

I dunno what to make of that, but why would someone check the properties of the image anyway? Maybe the whole thing is a lie, I don't know.... Thought you may wanna know anyhow...

Bill Gates will probably have the biggest, most tripped out PC with an amazing version of Windoze on it, working so quickly and efficiently. Sleekly customised with fish cursors, and a marine style desktop background.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if Gates didn't even have a PC at home... probably crashed too much. lol.

HAHA!
That's fantastic.

Yeah. I heard this one statistic that 75% of statistics are made up on the spot half the time.

Traders indeed - they all have that in common - they traded in their PC's for Mac's. However, they are traitors only for the length of the gig, which pays 'em to be.

Why is everyone getting theirselves all worked up...it was the ad firm that made the images not microsoft. I guess you guys need something to get all worked up over.

There's so much irony in these adverts, it's unbelievable.

Microsoft complains of the stereotype put forward, so what do they do? Start throwing massive sums of money around and having their celebrity name-dropping backfire.

And speaking of stereotypes, the creative professionals used in their ads use Macs. Eva Longoria is allegedly a Mac user, Pharallel has a gold-plated iPhone, Seinfeld is known for using a Mac, and even the advertising agency use Macs, and have even been featured on Apple's site. All of that from a campaign whose ad starts by complaining about stereotypes.
