Probably confusing us with the French, if we're talking stereotypes. ;)

Nope, no confusion. Pommy = soap dodger.

Here we call spraying on deodorant "having a pommy shower."

I beg to differ. I'm sure you'll find our personal hygiene is beyond reproach.

Anyway, the continuous drizzle we enjoy over here washes us clean.

OK, well, next time it rains, go outside, bare your teeth and look up. :D

not offensive, am still wondering where the 'being afraid of soap' stereotype comes from, i have honestly never heard of that before:confused:
There is a statistic somewhere...(google is your friend), that says Europeans take something like .7 showers per day where Americans take around 1.9 showers per day.
Many visits to Europe and I believe it (though, sadly, I've never actually been to England).

Can you explain to me exactly how you take .7 of a shower? Do you turn the water off two-thirds of the way through or something? :p

Yes, it's a park...but I've never taken my PB over there to try it out. The most pleasant part for sitting in the sun is probably just too far ;)
Oh, too bad. I occasionally get AP reception driving through my neighborhood... bouncing from one house to the next. I t would be awesome to get it in a park, just one more excuse to be on the computer instead of doing a real outdoor activity.
