Apple Car, not iCar

I don't know about 2046 but I do know they did it in 2003.

Our 15" MBP is from 2008, so finally looking to replace it this year. Without taking this too off topic, it will be interesting to see what happens with that come the summer. As they now do the Air, the new Macbook, and the MBP, I had thought maybe the MBP might get a redesign to slim it down more in line with the MBA. but since they updated the 13" but not the 15" now, I can't imagine them redesigning the 15" MBP, as that would mean four different styles of laptop.
If it indeed is a power button, the most it could do is wake/sleep or power down. Can't boot a dead computer unless apple released boot on Bluetooth firmware.
I hate reaching in the back of my Mac mini.
I do wonder what backlighting will do to battery life . . .
so how long would the batteries last with a wireless backlit keyboard?
bluetooth firmware + making the keyboard with removable USBC/Lightning cable so it can over wireless or wired. That makes two
Because the eject key makes no sense on the wireless keyboard? It's outdated. It performs the same task as the power button on a MacBook and Apple have clearly been pushing disk drives out for ages now. A power button in place of an eject button makes far more sense, to me.
Even the wired one would be difficult to do that with; Apple used ADB instead of USB the last time they did have a power key on the keyboard.
To all the people who have keep commenting on the "backlit" features of the keyboard featured.
IT IS NOT BACKLIT ITS BACKLIGHT
big difference
That's not exactly true. Apple briefly had a power key on their USB keyboard: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/TS2222
They did it by violating the USB standard, I believe, and adding an extra pin to the keyboard.
Can someone explain the difference between the new f5/f6 key vs the regular brightness keys? Are they different light sources?
Ugh. Never. I'll take the Magic Mouse's limited gestures over the limited pointing precision of the Magic Trackpad any day of the week.Mice are so 1988. Trackpad + gestures is where its at.20877091
the images in the links have now eject buttons...
but a USB-C version of the wired keyboard, perhaps with built-in battery, could be able to turn on a mac?
