I disagree. I think their would be more bugs shown up when it's installed across several different models, manufacturers and hardware. Apple only has their iPhones to worry about.

And ehen the overwhelming number if that tiny amount are on Google Devices...?

Not true. In sure there are overwhelmingly more note 8s, Samsung s8 any any other Android flagship that came out last year. I'm pretty sure majority of flagship Android devices has received the Oreo update.

First geek bench of gs9.looks like they down clocked it to slow it down to match the snapdragon 845.

This is at 2.6ghz while the big cores were supposed to run at 2.9ghz from Samsung's press on the 9810.

The snapdragon only hits 2350 single score

Why would anyone buy a phone without a notch? So old-school and dated, just ik the 90-ies.

Hihi, who would have thought how true this is a few months back :D

"I'm sure" doesn't equate to a fact. Unless you got an actual stated breakdown then you've got nothing.

The performance increase will justify its price increase.

The phone doubled its performance from the gs8 and the iphone x is 1400 Canadian

What “performance” is increased? Again are we referring to just processor, camera, gpu specifications and inferred performance gains because well something looks better on paper or in a PDFF better than last year or what is currently out? Are we talking .121ms faster shutter speeds which unless it’s at 940fps nobody would really notice?!

Again what performance is gains in how you’ll use the smartphone daily is what I’m challenging. Not presumed or assumed generics.

Yes Apple is taking note from Samsung, Xiome, Sony etc. Hope to see better phone without Notch and apple should really learn design which is lacking since sir Steve left us.
What do you propose Apple do instead of the notch? Make the entire upper part of the screen a notch from side to side, or essentially a thin bezel like the Galaxy/Note? That’s the alternative. The technology doesn’t exist yet to integrate the cameras, speaker, and sensors without some sort of notch or bezel. Why is the notch even talked about?

Samsing s8, note 8, HTC u11, moto z2, one plus 5 and some LG v30 has received the update to Oreo. That is a FACT. Now, how many upgraded their phones will be hard to determine. But if you want to believe that there are less than 3.9 million customers out of all the customers combine worldwide that purchased these flagship devices upgraded to Oreo then thats you making an illogical attempt at defending your point imo.

But no numbers. Got it. You wanna argue numbers then provide them. All we know so far is that Oreo is available for those devices, not installed on them. And that is a very important distinction.
