problem is that our # or email becomes public if we post it...I dont need crazies all over me..lol

Click on the user name in the side of the post and select "send private message".
I've been iMessaging my wife and it works great! 😀

Why can't I send a Private Message?
You may not be eligible to use this feature yet.
Before you can send a Private Message or email to another forum member, these conditions must apply:
1. You must have a post count of at least 5, as shown in your user profile.
2. You must have been a forum member at least one day.
3. The recipient must have enabled receipt of Private Messages or email in their User Options . The options are named Enable Private Messaging and Receive Email from Other Members.
From the faq. You do seem to have more than 5 posts tho. Check out number 3 to see if you have it activated!🙂

If people would like they can post their ID's in this thread/PM if they prefer and in 24 hours I will start a huge group test conversation.
Edit: I no longer wish to test iMessage, I have had 400+ new messages over the last 4 days.

Lets Start a iMessage bug list LOL
1) Inconstant use of Caller ID. One minute it uses @me.com and the next it uses the other email address
2) All iDevices don't keep up to speed with messages
3) Reading message on one iDevice doesn't clear the alert, badges or missed event in the notification centre of the other iDevice
4) Sometimes when sending message in iPad the message is sent but the blue bubble gets stuck where you type the message. Only way to resolve is click off or exit (not force close) and reopen.
5) Can't add people to current conversation.
6) [macingham] Symbol saying other person is typing comes up for like half a second for no reason (they aren't typing). Noticed this when testing face to face with a friend.
7) Message will state 'delivered' but then quickly shows failure with resend option.
8) [ChazUK] If you start typing a reply, then take a pic to add to the message the text window disappears. To get it back i had to pop out and back in to the message.
