Imessage test

Bug

If you start typing a reply, then take a pic to add to the message the text window disappears.

To get it back i had to pop out and back in to the message. :cool:

You may message me at the e-mail in the picture. I found out that if you keep adding e-mails consecutively, it seems to only need to verify the last address. Bug, I suppose.

Thanks to everone that popped in for an iMessage chat and for macingman for creating the thread.

It was good experiencing this new service. If anyone feels the need for an iMessage chat, be sure to hit me up.

Great bunch of people on this forum. :cool:

I am in the process of setting up the group test if you would like to join in please PM me your iMessage ID. I currently have about 15 people signed up for it.
 
When inputting someone's email address my send button does go blue. But I cannot send anything? It won't do anything when I do press 'send'. Am I doing something wrong? I am on Verizon network and not on wireless at the moment.

What happens if a contact in my address book has 2 or more email addresses??

e.g. I have 2 work addys and 2 personal ones

Does iMessage intelligently find the correct one to use??

Not sure about that one t be honest
But have noticed that they deliver to my iPad 2 more often than the iPhone 4

Hmm I added an email addy of an active imessenger into an existing contact with several email addys and when sending a message it only tried sms. Looks like more the. One email addy confuses it
 
Just thinking... might be worth stating your time zone unless you have your phone on silent at night.
 
if you have a few addresses added to imessage does the caller id always show what you have it set to or which one you used?

i would like to add

my keyboard stays open during conversation.

group imessage i don't get the 3 dot bubble saying when any of the other people are responding.

i would like to see added
where in group chat you can set different colors to each person so everyone doesn't just come up as white.
