Mine says that too! I thought it might changed to this, but can't remember what it said before
Mine before this said "Check in at the apple store Fri sep 20 between 8:30am and 9:00am"
And now it doesn't online? It still shows check in on the apple store app message, but not on the website..

I’m on the iUP as well, and this is my first year doing in-store pickup. Do I have to give them my old phone on the spot? Do I still have the option to mail it in at a later date?

I plan to arrive about 30 minutes before my window. I have to get my kids and dont want to be held up. Apple better not make me wait unnecessarily. Dumb that they dont allow modifications of pick up slots if there's space.

I now cannot make my reservation time. Given it’s an IAP order do you think they’ll release my phone as it’s technically not paid.

It amazes me how much people worry. If you placed an order for pickup, it WILL be there. In most cases, they charge you when you pick up the phone, Your device will be held until the end of business day.
As for SIM card, I have always been given a phone with the new SIM card in it. I have never re-used my SIM.
Thanks! I was just concerned as Apple in the UK don’t take any money upfront as they have to do the credit approval process in person. Good to know they’ll hold it.

My order status says " Your order will be available soon"... No charges yet, there will be none (advantage of living in no sales tax state).
My in store pickup is still "processing" With a message to check in at the apple store tomorrow (friday) 8:30am to 9:00am
