White Slider

I just got the full white conversion done this weekend and love it!
It looks amazing. I am choosing to protect it with the White incase slider. Even though you can't see the white backplate I do love the slider. I did have to trim a cheap screen protector (terrible job by me but it will do until the SGP oleo comes), but it looks nice. The white iPhone and the white of the slider are different. The white front LCD plate is more of a off white so you can see the difference. It still looks good though..Here are some pics. 3 with the case and one without

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I bought an Incase slider from best buy and tried to put it on with my bodyguardz on the front screen. Needless to say, it bubbled up on me. Disappointing. Searching for a bit i found the casecrown slider to be a hell of a lot more compatible with a screen protector. Anyone else using the casecrown "glider" here? Hell mine was something like $16 shipped.

Oh what the heck, got the Casecrown Glider @ 9$ shipped internationally so I might as well try it !

How much did the full white conversion cost you?

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: AMAZING!!! I will def be doing this combo when I get my hands on a white iP4!!

I got a great deal. I sold my old parts and got a booth vendor in the mall locally to do it. I watched him as he did the work. I got it for less but he will do it keeping your old parts with all OEM white part replacements including diffuser and speaker grill for $200. I know it is expensive but
The replacement is harder to do than I thought. That price is with labor. Without keeping your old parts he still charges 300 which is good since I saw replacement part packages being sold online are about 260$.
I know spending 200+ bucks for cosmetics is borderline but I love it!

Very girly :D

i have the white incase slider and PS crystal SP. The SP was aligned perfectly but kept bubbling. So instead of bringing the case back, I got my dremel and sanded off some material on the underside of the lip. Doing that stopped the lip from causing friction and pressure and stopped the SP from bubbling up. If you dont have a dremel using a fine grit piece of sandpaper will do the job

I actually thought about doing something like this as well, but was a bit concerned about weakening the edges of the case too much so that it might crack is something. I sent my case back to incase instead.

had a question.. is the incase snap compatible with the sgp oleo screen protector? still dunno if i should pick that up or the ps crystal

Anyone using the Incase Snap here ? Just gotten mind and noticed it's giving a bit of a squeeking sound when i squeeze it slightly. Happens was well when i turn up and down the volume button with one hand.

Finally got around to taking a couple pictures of my white slider. Love the case, but not really liking the glossy touch on the white version. Sort of slippery compared to the soft touch of the black slider i have. Might eventually exchange it for the metallic Grey soft touch, just need to see some pictures to convince me i guess. I do have an SGP oleo screen protector with no bubbling occurring after installation of the slider. Keep in mind i did not apply the SGP perfect either.

White Slider Case FTW!!! Just got mine today from BestBuy.

... Love the case, but not really liking the glossy touch on the white version. Sort of slippery compared to the soft touch of the black slider i have...

Funny, I find the soft touch finish is more prone to slippage.

yup, i do prefer the white color over my black slider but i just wish it was soft touch. Don't get me wrong though it still is a great looking case.

Any pics? Looks decent but I'd like to see it up close with a screen protector as well. Is the texture similar to the Incase Slider and the Seidio Innocase?

The texture is very similar to the Incase Slider. Works perfect with screen protectors because the lip doesnt go over the phone. Difficult to explain but as soon as my screen protector comes in (I ripped the old bodyguardz off because of the incase) Ill take some pictures. Drop protection feels like it'd be the same as the Incase, only difference I can tell between the two is the casecrown has felt on the inside to protect the back glass. Also, casecrown doesnt have the "lip" so i wouldn't really lay it on the screen side.

Just picked up my white incase slider. This case is NICE!!!

Fitment is perfect. I was able to apply my screen protector (casemate) and it works fine with case. No bubbles at all. My only grief is the bottom part seems to be loose. Like I can take it apart pretty easy. I was driving in the car with the phone sort of under my lap, when I pulled it out the bottom part of the slider was coming off. Not sure if its a defect of the case and if I should go and return for a new one.

Can those with incases chime in to see if you have the same issues?

Might check this out, looks like the slider scratches the side though.

Is everyone else seeing the same thing?

I'm going to need to slip the phone on and off a few times to swap SIMs when I'm in Europe.
