Latest update:

Sound coming from the speaker on the bottom of the phone is passable. Call quality is still horrible and sounds like someone is talking through one of those kid's play metal megaphones. Has anyone been able to improve the sound from the top (phone) speaker?

Is the sound cancelling mic being interfered with in any way?

So I got my replacement case. Damn do i hate that sticker on the inside of the case. I can't seem to get it off right the first time. It always leaves pieces behind that I gotta keep trying to get off. I do notice a bit more sensitivity issues on this second case than I did on my first one. I'm still getting tiny drops of water inside. Could it be the way I'm taking the case off? I water test it and then I detach the bottom part right away. I guess I should shake it off a little next time I do it. The earpiece seems to be a little better than my first case tho which is a good thing. I'll see how this second case treats me

Try turning on the hearing aid setting. I am experimenting with that. Calls sound REALLY loud now. I am turned down to 30% volume now.

Yea with my earpiece I have the volume down to just under 50% so I won't get any distortion. Doesn't bother me tho. But when you're calling someone and its ringing, that's when it bothers the most lol

After reading all these posts, I had to pick this case up to try out.

So far I'm experiencing no touch sensitivity issues and the sound isn't that bad. Access to the headphone port is much better on the Armor than on the Atlas.

The case did pass the water test.

So I think it was my mistake water got into the case. I didn't shake the case or anything when I took the case out to inspect it. Opening that latch while there is still lots of water in there will cause the water to go in. I took the phone out n put it back in n touch sensitivity seems to be a bit better. Now I'm really thinking about keeping this case

I presume you got it from Verizon since you said you "picked it up." Did you grab a black one or a white one? Just curious since I've tried 3 of the white ones and had sensitivity issues with all of them.

I picked up the black Atlas. The case is perfect so far!

I am new to the forum. I have been waiting for the atlas case for awhile now. I have gone through the many different versions of the lp fre case. Amazing they never addressed their problems. I then bought the armor case-great case rather bulky but as functionality it worked. I bought two white and grey atlas cases at verizon and found the screen sensitivity to be okay The edges aren't the best but aren't the worst but the overall call quality is lacking. I have read other tweet and posts and incipio suggests turning down the volume, to me that's ridiculous for 90.00 you shouldn't have to sacrifice call volume or clarity. How can they release these cases that obviously have issues?

Thanks...I'm starting to wonder if there's some variation with these things. Color of course shouldn't matter, but the different colors would certainly be made in certain batches.

What interesting is Incipio said the first run of the cases had the green and white sticker in the inside of the case the second run did not

Ah I'd heard that some cases didn't have the sticker inside, but I didn't realize that they came from a second run. For those of you that didn't have the 'pleasure' of trying to get that sticker off, are you still having plenty of trouble with the screen sensitivity around the edges of the phone? Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting the sticker has anything to do with that - just trying to see if we can correlate any improvements to different batches of cases (kind of like how we saw the different versions of the Lifeproof early on).

I still do have some sensitivity issue. My screen looks smudgy because I been trying like crazy to take off the marks the sticker left behind. How do we get one without the sticker? I might go back to the Verizon store and try to get my white exchanged for a black one and one without the sticker.

I did not have a sticker on the inside of my case when I got it. I pre-ordered from Incipio the grey/black one. I do have a little sensitivity issues around the edge in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Everywhere else seems pretty good.

Interesting...I've been checking Incipio's Facebook page occasionally to see what comments people have been posting about the Atlas. There were quite a few negative ones of course.

I just tries to take a look at it and they've apparently changes a setting because I can no longer see "posts by others." The negative comments must have gotten pretty bad! Maybe you can still see them if you "like" them on Facebook but I'm not about to do that...

Yes you can't see other posts when you're logged into facebook. If your logged out you can see posts by others. Strange

It's the Facebook app and their horrible updates they keep dishing out, can't see any "posts by others" on other pages either on the iOS app.

That sticker was such a pain in the a** to get off.. Not sure what ever made them think to put one there.

do any of you guys notice the "rub" marks near the 2 holes where the tabs on the bottom cover align?

When you pull the cover off, the tabs rubs against the case as its pulling out of the holes.

Is this normal?

Or was it because I didnt initially press the down arrow as I pulled open the bottom cover a couple times?

I dont think pushing the arrow even makes a difference much as its so stiff in the back anyways

I'm concerned the 2 tabs will get worn out over time from pulling it off/on to charge the phone

So I just got my red Lifeproof and damn I don't know if I should keep the Atlas or the red Lifeproof. I love the build quality of both. I love the glass screen protector compared to the plasticy one of the LP. The glass screen on the Atlas does get really smudgy for me. It's never fully clean on the inside because of the residue that sticker left behind. The LP has no oil slicks, i don't have screen sensitivity issues and since the LP has been out more, it has less issues than the Atlas like call quality for example. I don't know which to pick of the two. $100 for each case after shipping. I'm thinking of keeping both but spending $200 on 2 waterproof cases, eh i don't know. Can someone here convince me that having two $100 waterproof cases isn't crazy? Lol
