i got my incipio feather case and absolutely love it! except that i got the 1st version with the dodgy flash interference... too bad for me i ordered mine through ebay... looks like i will have to order one from incipio themselves...

I ordered mine on ebay and they sent me a new one no problem. They just want proof that you actually bought one. And those cases are two different ones. One is absolute black and the other is pearl metallic black

I see that on the website as well. Which one is matte and which one is glossy? I watched TekBeatTV review and I'm thinking of getting one. I want a minimalistic looking case that will protect the back and provide some texture to improve grip support.

Also and I know this sounds stupid, but what are the odds that the phone will fall out of the case? If the phone does snap into the case, is there any possibility that the phone can slip out? Originally I was looking into getting a proper case that will envelope the phone, but I'm reconsidering just because I love the look of this case.

I'm guessing that if you buy it from incipio it'll be the revised one. The only time I see the case snapping off would be an impact from a drop. Otherwise it's on pretty tight.

The other day a wasp landed on the hand i had my iPhone in. I panicked and managed to throw the iphone, which bounced about 10 feet over rough concrete. The Feather stayed on and did a fine job of protecting the iphone

for my Canadian buddies, futureshop is having a 30% off sale on a lot of iphone accessories, and it includes the feather. Unfortunately they don't have a lot of colors to select.

I did manage to pick up a absolute black (IPH-512) for 20 bucks. Local pickup so no shipping charge either.

Is absolute black glossy or matte? I didn't see it on FS' website, but I found this:

I'm thinking of getting one cuz of the sale. How do I know whether it's the second revision or not? Can I exchange or refund it if I found out that it's not and provided that I didn't use the screen protectors?

I couldn't wait for you to respond so I got to FS before they closed. I got one and I'll open it in a bit to see how it's like. Did you used the screen protector? I have a SGP UC coming and ultimately I'm going to use that.

Zagg Vs Wrapsol

I first purchased a Zagg protector for my iphone 4 as i've used them in the past. It lasted about two weeks before it started to peel away at the edges. I ordered a replacement and the same thing happened. I looked around for alternatives and more advice from the forums. Came up with the Wrapsol full cover. This has slightly oopaque cover for the rear, clear for the front and opaque for the sides. wasn't sure about the sides as i thought they would come straight off. I've had it on the phone over a month and it brilliant. No problems with it adhering properly (even the small bits on the edges). Great feel to it and you'd hardly notice it was there! Much better than a hard case which in my view are far too bulky and spoil the aesthetics. My advice. Avoid Zagg like the plague and go for Wrapsol.

I'm going to use the protectors until my phantom skinz arrive. Since the free case won't come in for at least a month, and I need a case in the mean time, I plan to keep the incipio and thus will use the protectors for the time being. If I don't like it I'll just replace it with my phantom skinz later.

So I applied the screen protector late last night and I'm not too impressed with it. The clarity of it is alright, but there's a weird wavyness that I can see on the screen when power is off. Also the fit is less than perfect. If I can get the camera and ear piece holes to align properly, the home button won't be covered 100%. Fortunately I didn't notice any dust that was attracted to the screen, but there are bubbles. I can't get rid of them even using the tool that they provide to get rid of it. Any tips on eliminating the bubbles?
