Cancelled my preorder for the gray through Amazon thanks to your heads up. The Switcheasy Canvas is an awesome case tho, hands down my favorite.
 
Since the magnets on the case are placed differently causing it not to work, will it damage the iPad if you continue using it?
 
I ordered this case as well. Looks like I'll be sending mine back also if the magnets don't work.

I talked to support and they will be modifying the case and sending you a replacement free of charge.. I an bout 2 weeks they said.

or you can just refuse the delivery and ask it to be sent to sender..

in regards to safety to your ipad in the meantime, I guess it should be fine..

I've sent an email to Incipio regarding this issue as I've just ordered one via international delivery to the UK. The sleep/wake function doesn't bother me at all, but they should clarify things asap.

Glad I cancelled my order for the Lexington and went for the Moko :)

The moko doesn't have a working sleep/wake function either :p

Anyhow, this is disappointing, i should be getting my lex tommorow.

I think im just going to keep the case even if that feature doesn't work. I dont mind pressing the Home button to wake up the iPad everytime, yes, it SHOULD work but sending it back now... eh, we'll see.

I bought the belkin cinema from Radioshack the other day and returned it, The sleep/wake wasn't working there either :D

Nice case otherwise, but the Lexington does offer more protection than the belkin because the belkin covers on the 4 corners of the iPAD, nothing more. The lexington covers the iPad all around.
 
Yah just got off the phone to try to cancel but mines gone out already via international shipping. So he said he'll just order me a replacement once they get them in stock. As for returning the old one he said they'll arrange later. I did tell them I'm not paying for shipping back the defective one. Let's see what happens.

Going out now to get a smart cover to at least protect my screen a bit when it's in my bag.

Come on now, this is Incipio, not Maroo. They are a larger company (and more cocky in regards to returns and what not)

The reason maroo sent free replacments is because they want to build a customer base, Incipio is already popular.

I dont know.. we'll see.

Well I'm going to call them immediately tomorrow for a replacement case (seeing as after I try it on it shouldn't work.)

I'll tell them I want a replacement case sent to me (for free of course)

And after I get it I don't see how they can charge my card more? I used Amazon payments.

But if they REALLY want their broken case back they can send me a paid packaging slip in the replacement box and I'll use the pre-paid slip to return it.

Seems like THEY really messed up...I'm not sending back the broken case before I get the replacement one.

The combo costs so much more though since you have to buy two cases...if I had the money I'd do it...but $35 is the most I'd go.
