My thoughts exactly. TfL warns against using Covent Garden st due to the crowds. It's unbearable in the weekends during summer. Unless there are any great deals on offer, I will not make my way to this new store in a long time.
Just go to Leicester Square. It's really no distance walk from there.

Same. I completely agree.

Because apple started here springs to mind? Seriously, Apple is an american company, and is more popular in the US based on market share. When Apple wants to increase market share, they tend to just make something revolutionary or just plain awesome that wows the population, and this store I would say does that so... It does make sense from a business standpoint. I don't really care too much though, there're plenty Apple stores here in NYC, and this Apple store can't do anything but help my favorite company in the world. :D:apple: So congrats UK! :p

Still don't care. I bet you don't even know what product's you're using that originate from NZ.

You just proved my point, you sound like you have pride in your country, so you just find it hard to understand how anyone else can have pride in their country if it isn't NZ then? Is that it?

Nope, its because NZ is an apathetic society. We dont care, we probably should but we dont.

Oh and Red Herrings are a critical thinking fallacy. You just proved my assumption.

I'm looking forward to the next new Apple product as it's sure to be released in the UK first, with the US following a few months later.

Imagine the ****storm that would create.

Congrads London!

Congrads to the UK and London. It's a marvelous store and I hope it draws the whole of the EU to visit and spend their money there :)

I'm especially envious of the upstairs community rooms and the extra-large genius bar. I had to drop by my local Apple store recently and while everything was handled wonderfully (broken fan in my MBP--I was in and out with a fixed laptop within 20 minutes), it was awful crowded. There were those there to watch a lecture on making videos, those taking private lessons, those shopping and waiting for repairs, all pretty much in the same area. How nice to have a separate space for each.

You lucky, lucky bastards! :D

Wool and kiwi fruit? ;)

You'll be surprised how many American people I've meet that can't answer that question. If they fail to, I cycle 1st world countries and the really ignorant ones cant even answer one about China. Its rather entertaining.

If you want the commonwealth countries to get rid of the loud obnoxious ignorant stereotype, stop reinforcing it! I know some absolutely brilliant Americans, but I often get the feeling that they're a rarity.

Right?

Facepalm for so many... many things.

Despite the fact that it says Australia under Ugg.

It's always fun to try and guess in what direction new threads will go off topic, and it's usually so obscure it's impossible.

New Apple Store opens in London and we've now got to NZ exports to the USA?
:)
