1.) For the premium that Apple UK charges, they better have a decent store! :)

2.) At least the UK is the best in something, even if it's such an insignificant thing. Ladies and gentlemen, the "Largest Apple Store In The World" award goes to... London, United Kingdom!

They have the record for the tallest glass panels in the southern hemisphere.

I think that store is IMMACULATE. im stuck with the Apple Store in Towson Town Center which, for the amount of traffic that goes through there, is really too small. I want to go to the 5th avenue store. But this place is really awesome.

Yes, this is a fantastic new store. But the homepage of MacRumors has been taken over by complete exaggeration.

There is NO WAY the entire 5th Ave apple store would fit in that Covent Garden atrium.

Well said - this claim is obvious nonsense. You can tell it's wrong if you watch the video at all closely. Truth is, I'm not sure *any* Apple store would fit into that atrium, and certainly not 5th Avenue NYC.

There is NO WAY the entire 5th Ave apple store would fit in that Covent Garden atrium. Maybe the GLASS CUBE on top of the 5th ave store would fit in there. Has anyone actually watched that video or seen the pics? The courtyard in covent garden is maybe 600 sq/ft (~100sq/m). The apple store on 5th Ave (only estimating the retail area) is at least 5000-6000 sq/ft.

I'm happy for you London, but let's get real here. I was laying in bed last night reading the post thinking "my god, I can't wait to see a glass covered atrium that big!". Then I watch the video... total letdown.

wow this post made me cringe, do you really care about something like this? you sound ridiculous! total letdown for watching a video about an Apple Store? your life must be pretty boring....

sweet!

All of that extra room must be nice. But i'm sure it will be just as crowded as the smaller ones around LA!

Let the Brits have this one!

just watched that video

no way in hell that atrium square is as big as fifth avenue. nooooooooooo way. fifth ave is a zoo, that place is easily much bigger than that atrium.

this store seems a bit cramped to me. fifth avenue just comes off as HUGE. you walk down those steps and it's products EVERYWHERE.

Trust me, I was there today at Covent Garden and I was at the 5th Avenue store a few months back. Covent Garden is absolutely HUGE in comparison.

So we have regent street, which WAS the largest in the world, and now we have this one which is the largest apple store in the world. So we got the top two largest stores :p

Oh god,

Its nice but the glass stairs? imagin falling down the stairs,,, the glass corners would hurt like crazy

Man, I really wish the Apple store's near me were awesome.

Don't get me wrong, they're awesome, just not this awesome.

My Apple store doesn't even have ONE glass staircase!!! This is ridiculous...

I'll do ya one better! I wish we had an Apple store here, any ole Apple Store!--))) ;):D:apple:

Apparently hyperbole is not your strong-suit.

Shame for the Americans lol. Seem to be having trouble with themselves because they don't have the biggest apple store in the world lol.

I wonder if the entire 5th ave store would fit In there...?

I've been to 5th ave and to be honest I thought it wasn't that interesting. Only thing special is the glass cube...

The Covent garden store looks 1000x times better in my opinion. Such a beautiful building.

But I like my own little apple store here in Scotland the best :)
