Just purchased one off amazon only 4 bucks + 2 bucks shipping.

should be here in 3-5 days!

I decided I wasn't happy with the Incase Pro Slider on my iPhone 4 - and I noticed a hairline crack developing near the edge where the two pieces meet. :( I returned it and placed an order for a Candyshell. Hopefully this will be the case for me!

sorry man but in all probability you will get a cheap knockoff.....

I was thinking about that, but I've never had a any problems with amazon so far.

Well one, but amazon's a-z guarantee dealt with it smoothly.

So I'm not to worried. I'll let y'all know. and it's only 6 bucks, just not eat out for a night. haha.

Received my Candyshell. First impressions are good. I like the feel and I think it will provide good drop protection.

Weak points are: removing the case (somewhat difficult), the bottom lip (above dock connector) will probably break or crack after awhile, and of course the case scratches easily.

However, those things I can live with. I think this will be the case for me.

Note - colors are all over the place. This is the "Pepmint White" case. It's a medium-dark red and bright white. The red is not pink or bright red.

I've had a white Candyshell on my phone for a month and I have no flaking. My case is the one with the huuuuuge cutout around the camera, not just the oval, and the rubber still feels smooth and less dry than even the 3gs Candyshells.

I also recently purchased a white with pink trim Candshell and it also has the huge cutout for the camera. Absolutely no problems with the rubber flaking either. The back plastic does scratch very easily but it's plastic and the white doesn't show the scratches unless you hold it slanted and tilted towards a light. I'm pretty happy with it other than the bulkiness. I could better deal with the bulkiness if it were due to being a battery case but it's not.

I received mine, all I have to say is it looks amazing.

It may or may not be a replica because it didn't come with retail packaging, but if it is it is a perfect replica.

Coming from mine and my brothers, they look exactly the same.

What can I say, I'm pleased.

Does anyone have any pictures of the Pirate's Cove Teal Candyshell, or does anyone know if the actual item is true to the color pictured on the website? I got the purple and pink one and the colors are different hues than what the website shows, so I'm curious how the teal compares before I buying it.

Things I have to say...

1. Get white because it doesn't show scratches or marks
2. My phone's flown onto and hit cement multiple times in this case. Result? Awesomeness and great protection - it's RUBBER.
3. Don't like the thickness? That's part of the protection.

I love this case!!! LOVE IT

Two dealbreakers on the candyshell:

-The rubber pieces, particularly the border around the screen, create the same type of friction that a silicone case does. So this is not a good case if you're pulling it in and out of your pants pocket all the time.

-The headphone jack is too small.

If you're carrying it in a purse/bag or using apple's headphones or no headphones, it's a terrific case.
