Yikes. I don‘t know who is giving Intel such bad advice with these silly ads, but my guess it’s from the likes of professional Windows panderers like Paul Thurrot who has been in TWIT various times encouraging Intel to go after Apple with this shtick.
Dumb move regardless of where this desperation is coming from. Especially as Windows and Intel completely dominate the market and will likely continue to do for the foreseeable future as Windows and their chips run the corporate world and industry around the world.
Or perhaps they feel they are on the edge of a precipice and this is a cry for help.

As someone who wants competition to spur innovation, I’m concerned Intel is focusing on the wrong thing. Maybe make good chips that deliver power and efficiency, and deliver on time to what you promise in your roadmap. They’re focusing on Apple’s M1 chip after a bruised ego, when in reality, it’s AMD that will actually kill them off.

Their are getting smoked by PC Gamers whom build their own computers are preferring AMD processors because of the many cores and low power consumption! Now Apple went to their own processors Intel is loosing two core buyer groups! If you own Intel stock, sell it before it goes bust!

Eh, those people care more about GPUs anyway. I've found that the more mindless the video game is, the less of the CPU it uses relative to the GPU. AAA games? i3 is fine for those, provided you have a 2080 or something.

The only thing limitless about Intel these days is their power consumption under load.

Has anybody noticed that this is pretty similar to how Apple used to market less powerful PowerPC based computers vs more powerful Intel computers? They said “it’s not the cycles, it’s what you do with them” blah blah. It was the best they could do.

This is the best Intel can do. The M1 is a freak of nature and for most users it’s wildly better and faster.

But it’s true, if you want to install sketchy software or play sys admin you’re gonna want a Windows machine. I for one don’t want to do that.

What the heck, those Mac M1 claims are seriously just straight lies. Why didn't an Intel lawyer say "guys, do you really want to do this?" "Limited creation applications" is just wrong. Everything is wrong. WTH.
