LOL

Even if that were true, that's enough. Are we really at the point where people are making fun of an operating system, saying, "Haha, the only thing your operating system has is APPLICATIONS!"

I think you have lost sight over what operating systems are designed to do.
I first posted to this thread thinking I might be switching to Android if I was not impressed by the next iPhone.

But ironically the angst from Android users in this thread has me scratching my head and not wanting to consider the platform for my next phone. Particularly alarming was the knee-jerk reaction that excused nearly every single problem with Android as being due to "clueless" users. Conversely, the only reason people use iOS is that they too are "clueless." Something is wrong with that picture.

If you choose an expensive technology device based off of biased opinions, you're limiting yourself tremendously.

That isn't a reasonable response. They were taking a "wait and see" approach to Facebook because they didn't know where it was going, yet they added Twitter? Come on now, that doesn't make any sense. You do realize Facebook is MUCH more popular than Twitter? They could have very easily added Facebook integration. They purposely withheld it to add later.

Exactly my point. Facebook is much more popular hence its a bigger project to tackle. Facebook has so many facets and so many different types of embedded interactions. And again, that combined with the fact that facebook integration is not just as easy as Twitter. Twitter is 140 characters or less. Thats it.

So it's your contention they didn't add Facebook integration initially because it was too hard? lol

I thought the reason FB integration wasn't added is because Apple and Facebook weren't playing nice together for awhile for some reason.

True unbiased research is your friend, not a bunch of juveniles on a forum. Regardless of what platform you choose, research will almost always prevent buyers remorse.

lol it doesn't if you subscribe to Tennisproha's theory. I doubt they didn't include it because it was too difficult. It was a deliberate exclusion, it's really that simple.

You know these forums are laid out in a thread format for a very smart reason. Its to allow everyone to follow the chronological order of debate and then post an appropriate response.

I ignored your initial remark because it wasn't worth my time to sit here reiterating points I've already made to someone who arrogantly clips a segment of the thread out of context and tries to misquote it. But not only are you giving other readers inaccurate information but you are blaming me for saying something I never claimed.

Go read the whole conversation buddy. There are many pages to this thread.

hmm, that might be. Although, I don't know anything about that. Maybe someone else can shed some light on it for us. But I think if that was the case then it would make sense and its inline with my belief about the state of Facebook at the time being the reason for lack of integration. And Apple always wants their way, rt?
