International (EU, non-US) iPad 2 Shipping Dates, 1st "Prepared for Shipment" Status!

Finally ! It seems things are starting to move forward for most here.
Ordered about the same time and day as you did Ipad Black 32GB Wi-Fi from
Store Mexico but my shipment status has not changed. Still the same "Not Yet Shipped" messsage but seeing yours is prepared for shipment means it wont be long for mine to change. Saludos

anyone's smart cover is being "prepared for shipment"? I ordered a red one and it is still "not yet shipped" whereas my iPad on the other hand arrive on April 13th as it says on UPS.
Just wandered the same. My iPad is even due to arrive April 12, while no news on the Smart Cover. I'm considering calling every
Retailer around and trying to get it elsewhere...

Actually it is on the US store, the DK store is still stuck on "Not Yet Shipped"
But I do not use the apple site directly, I am using the dashboard widget from JUNECLOUD.
They also have a iPhone App.

Maybe the foreign order status pages don't know a "Prepared for Shipment" status and go directly to "Shipped"?!

Thanks for reminding me of this widget - I still have it from a previous Apple order - the only problem for me is that when Iinput my order number it only references the Camera Connection Kit (still NYS) and doesn't see the iPad (Prepared for shipping)
Hoping for a quick change to "Shipped" then I'll try again. Sadly, my "Prepped" status hasn't moved on as quickly as it did for Zerox
All made more frustrating by reports of retailers (JL etc) all having my preferred flavour in stock today!

Just updated to "Prepared for Shipment" on the U.S. store.
Its still quoting the 25th of april as delivery, though. Since I have no recollection of how this went last time,
Figure about a week... wouldn't expect the delivery date to change until they actually ship though as they won't start the clock (so to speak) on their delivery service until it actually leaves Apple.
Oh and another UK'er checking in. Black 32Gb Wi-Fi with Orange smart cover ordered Mar 25th at 12:54am. Was running as Shipping 15th April and delivery on the 26th. UK store 'not yet shipped' but the US one is listing the iPad as prepared for shipment. Oddly the smart cover is still waiting....
I think you should cancel your smart cover order and re order it because all apart from red has changed dispatched date from 2-3 weeks to 24 hours.
Especially for an orange you can now get it anywhere now I suppose heard there were loads in stock in Apple Stores.
Mine has arrived today! almost 2 weeks ahead of the initial delivery date. Good luck to everyone else for an early arrival
Love how your delivery goes from Hong Kong straight to Sydney then where you live I guess Fedex is efficient.
I don't even know why UK is using UPS, mine is circling around the globe, it was in Hong Kong now its in Dubai and no its not going to UK its going to Germany first. Why do this? why not just go straight to bloody UK? stupid UPS.

Probably will once the iPad has actually shipped... It's not that I'm paranoid but after waiting two weeks for the iPad to ship I don't want to risk screwing it up now by some crazy random happenstance.
