ordered two unlocked white 64gb phones from the canadian apple store at 3.55am ET on Oct 7th. order status is still "processing items".

I'm from Canada and my "processing items" has not changed since last Friday! As of right now, there isn't anyone else who has posted (From Canada) that their orders have changed to "Preparing for shipment"...
Australia is very lucky!!!

Something has changed for me. While the apple store order status still shows as processing, I tried ups.ca tracking method by putting in the order number (by omitting the last 2 digits) and it shows up now!! It didn't show up yesterday. The status is to be delivered on Friday.
But the shipping info says, OSSINEKE, MI, US. Not my canadian address
Can I assume its mine coming though US?? Not sure

Wow that's a very interesting way to track it. Did you track using "Shipment reference"? If so, you would need to know the shipper's account number in order to do it.
I am in Vancouver and ordered the 64gb White by 1am PST last Friday. My order status still shows PROCESSING as of a few minutes ago.

On this forum, people have done the same. (putting the apple store order number except the last 2 digits and got status in UPS website)
It does say origin from china now in Hong kong. But the destination says MI,US which is confusing.

i have just tried doing what you did with both ups and tnt but no luck
im in the uk ordered when the site went up Called up apple - looks like its not my order after all. This way of tracking shipment is bogus. Even though it shows up, its not my order. And my CC is not charged yet. So most likely, its not mine.
So back to square one..Not even preparing for shipment.
this is what mine shows. i tried checking using the order number without the last two digits in ups. so i guess we wont be getting it till next week if it is scheduled to arrive US end of day friday? status is showed as processing ships by oct 14. vancouver bc here btw. ordered 12:45am oct 7.

What time on Friday did you place your order?Just did the same, and got a shipment from Logan NJ, to Indianopolis, and in transit to ship today. So I think you just end up finding a random shipment. And By chance it was coming from China as well.

Carphone Warehouse are delivering between 07.30-21.00 on Friday! At least that means the 4S is in the Country already! My friend is getting an upgrade from o2 and has just received confirmation of this.

Mine is 0.40kg as well, same locations and delivery by the end of the day on Friday but also to an US address even tough I'm in Canada.

your lucky pal i ordered mine around 9.30 ish and recieved my confirmation shortly after but mine is still processing
That method for tracking is not bogus, you just happened to pick random numbers that were someone else's order.
You use the phone number as the reference number 9 digits no spaces or dash
The destination country
The postal code
You do not need the shippers account number.
I know it works because when I do this it shows my Mac Mini that was delivered on Sept. 15th
Your order number has nothing to do with the reference number.
