Mine has finally changed to preparing for shipment :D

Preparing for Shipment
Not eligible to cancel or return

It's an iPhone 4S 16GB White.

Now I have some hope of it being delivered by Friday, would be so damn happy if I got it on Friday!

For anyone that's interested, I accidentally ordered 5 iPhones on one account (forgot to print the confirmation and hit back/forward in Safari a few times) and 4 of them (64gb white) have gone to 'Preparing for Shipment'. So I guess Apple were too busy to enforce the 2 iPhones per person rule...

Does anyone have preparing for shipment on an iPhone 32 GB yet? Or 64?

That is unfortunate for your credit card!

Apologies for sounding skeptical earlier, that wasn't my intention!

My order has just ticked over to 'Preparing for Shipment', which is nice :)

I've also just looked at the original notice I had from Apple when I put the order in, and that came through at 7.09PM on Friday 7 October... I'm pretty sure I ordered just after 7pm for those who are trying to gauge where there's should be.

*squeal*

haha

Its not really anything to do with the time that you ordered. I ordered within 5 minutes of pre-orders starting and still on processing.

No e-mail yet. I get a shipping number when I check at www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status There it has the ship date as today. It doesn't show up on UPS's site yet. When I log into my account at ATT it shows up as shipped but no tracking number. On that page it shows the ship date as yesterday.

I wish it was FedEx instead of UPS. UPS usually doesn't show up at my house until late in the afternoon.

Americans aren't allowed here.

This is not a US thread — go and chat about your tracking numbers here: https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=13559821

Haha I know, I'm hoping the charges don't land until the 14th or late 13th, so it gives me another month to return the spares/off load them to friends.

On another note: newsflash just said there are people already lining up in Australia???

Surely one of us must know *somebody* who works for TNT and can nourish our dreams of getting our phones early.

It's funny you should say that, an I wasn't going to post this because it sounds like wild speculation;

I have a friend on Google+ who does indeed work for TNT and in no way is interested in iPhones. Her Google+ status a couple of hours ago, and I'm paraphrasing here to avoid identification, "come on iPhones!" I haven't talked to her in years but asked of she knew if TNT were doing the deliveries and her colleague replied with "maybe ;)"

I'm 90% sure now our iPhones are at various TNT depots across the UK, and they're being told to wait until tomorrow/Friday to complete delivery. I know you're probably rolling your eyes right now but her status made it seem that they had just received a huge delivery to sort. Not only that, before her colleague replied, she deleted her initial reply to my question about TNT.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. When I was waiting in line for the 3GS a courrier showed up about a 1 hour before the store was suppose to open and dropped off the iPhones.

This is the kind of wild speculation I wanted! It would be more useful if she could tell me exactly when my package will arrive though.

So if Aussie's are starting to see their order switch over to "preparing for shipment" around 9PM Wednesday in Australia, other international order (like mine here in Canada) will maybe do the same? I'll keep checking all day, but I've got my fingers crossed for some activity tonight!

My status is still on processing. I bought the 64G Black one.
Starting to get excited and it's not even thursday yet. I think I will go crazy on the weekend if it doesn't arrive and I have to wait till Monday. It seems logical that if telcos get stock, that pre-orderers should too! I can't help it but I'm getting my hopes up for Friday!
