This is nothing more than a version of the argument that state-sponsored early childhood education needs to start before the children turn two. The parents aren't doing their job working with their children to teach basic skills and they are entering school woefully unprepared. Social media isn't the problem any more than TV or video games have been for years.
Or they actually did something wrong and are trying to make up for it. Apple saying no is like back when Steve told everyone they were holding it wrong instead of actively admitting to their mistake.I’ll be so glad when Apple gets a backbone again and starts saying NO instead of passively agreeing with everything.
Is this like a much dumber version of the tinfoil hat?Paper all your rooms with aluminium foil under the wallpaper, and connect it to ground; problem will disappear overnight.

All of your last few responses have been sarcastic and meaningless to the discussion. Nothing you said has anything to do with addiction, Apple, parental controls, or parenting.I feel your response could be considered the dumb part of this interchange; learn some basic physics and/or RF theory, or ask someone with the requisite knowledge in this field, to confirm this.

Oh? Your personal insults don’t really bother me. That would actually be dumb caring what some face person would say. Nice try though.
I've learned so much from this conversation. Thank you.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That's life I guess.
Take note: I didn't reply to you in such a tone.

Phones are handy but it's probably one of the worst inventions in the last 50 years for how it's dismantled society and impacted relationships and attention spans...
Sent from my iPhone... Sigh.
Never heard of that option. Is it in restrictions?They have, it's called take the device away...
Let's blame it all on the parents. Yeahhh! Cuz it's a very easy way to deal if it, even if we know it will make no difference.
Let's also allow back alcohol and tabaco ads everywhere. **** the kids. Let's make more money and blame it all on the lazy parents!
</sarcasm>
Yes. It's there, but you have to dig deep to find the settings.Never heard of that option. Is it in restrictions?

Because Apple is the biggest company on earth that got to where they are by having high standards for quality and are held under more scrutiny than other companies ... and mostly due to the fact that they kept this blatantly hidden from customers and would never have tried to address the issue at all had it not been brought to our attention.This reminds me when the iPod was blamed for hearing loss, what about other MP3 players and other devices? And here it is again, what about Android and other smart phones?
