I can't imagine Apple implementing all of the ideas, but just a few would be nice. I'm actually most excited for Textual Siri. There's been a lot of talk about "bots" recently and I'm on board with the idea, but feel it makes more sense at the OS level rather than Skype or Facebook Messenger. And it's about time there was some more obvious improvements to Siri. I'm not so sure about all the improvements listed... The drag and drop between split views would be nice... Just looking for major movement on iOS. I know most of this isn't Apple's fault as it's harder to move by leaps when platforms become mature, but it would be nice to really get excited about it again. I think many of us are looking for new for the sake of new... And I think that's ok. I think new, excitement, novelty, and joy are all perfectly valid features.

A third-party Siri API is way way overdue, so I'm not holding my breath at this point.

"Dark mode" will probably not show up until Apple switches to AMOLED displays.

Sam Beckett's iOS concepts have always been good, and often better UI than what Apple subsequently develops. For example, his concept on ipad multi-tasking was gorgeous and fluid and intuitive.

I like all these ideas. I want multi screen mode for iphone + models!

Any chance Apple will listen (copy) these great ideas?

Do we have any ideas what Apple will do for iOS 10 ? I know the conference is in the summer but I don't remember hearing anything about what will improve or be changed in iOS 10 ?

Not only is apple playing catch up big time, Samsung Good Lock already has a ton of features that these concepts don't even include. Apple iOS is just lagging behind android big time. It's quite sad when someone makes a concept like this it falls on deaf ears at apple. You might as well have some jailbreakers make this and then perhaps apple will actually respond.

These things shouldn't be called "concepts" they should be called "attempts to make everyone disappointed when the actual thing comes out."

This is the tech equivalent of air-brushing supermodels on magazines. It doesn't represent anything close to reality or possibility.

While dark mode looks amazing. Lets be real here, apple is going to make it look like iOS 1 for the 10 year anniversary

That would be a massive upgrade. I would welcome that.

I recently set up an iOS 6 iPod for my wife's car and it was glorious. So much easier to use than iOS7+. I miss the old days where the UX was simple and always visible. This garbage of hidden UI behind obscure gestures and icons that make no sense is so frustrating. I have to do everything for wife on her phone because she can't understand share sheets or tapping blindly to bring up UI elements (understandably so).

Why say that? Go on any android running 5+ and see for yourself most of these are already included. If you run the latest S7/edge with Good Lock, it's more than this concept. Multi-window apps in samsung already support drag and drop. These concepts have merit just that apple will never listen to an outsider who makes a youtube video on features they cannot come up with.

Android Notifications is superior to iOS notifications. If anyone thinks otherwise, they've never used an android device. Not only these features are missing but these concepts show how outdated iOS really is.

I say that because I and everyone here has seen these concepts over and over again, and no one, no not one has been actually close to what Apple ends up doing.

How many people were disappointed at the Apple watch because of the concepts that were round, or looked more like fit bit bands or whatever. I 100% disagree that concepts made by independent parties have any effect on what Apple does. What they do is set unrealistic expectations in users.

It saddens me to watch that. All the built in features I now want, but will more than likely never have. Although I am sure some of them will hit right around iOS 17.

How about apple adds what Android has had for the longest of times...when I receive a call please do not make that front and center of the entire screen thus stopping me from finishing and sending a text / email, etc. If I am using my phone make that a banner like iOS already has for emails, sms, etc. That would be a useful addition. Moving control center icons around is of no real use to me.

Some potentially exciting ideas Apple should work on implementing even if they are released in future versions of iOS beyond 10.

Sam Beckett produces some sterling work; credit to both of these guys for a fantastic concept video.
