I'm enjoying iOS 10 and haven't had any trouble but my wife is having trouble. Constant reboots. Messages doesn't work. Just displays all effects as text. I'm not sure what's wrong. She's mad.![]()
Reset. Erase and start from scratch after a good backup.
Not getting the logic behind the 2 step when unlocking with Touch ID. You have to press the Home button once your print is recognized. The text indicating this is so small and at the top some folks will miss it.
Fortunately it can be reversed to pre-10 behaviour in Accessibility settings.
I'm in the US and I don't see voicemail transcriptions anyplace. Are voicemail transcriptions still USA only?
I feel like I can't figure out how to do voicemail transcription? am I missing something?
I'm guessing that you're using a Bluetooth keyboard. Same issue here, and I've logged it as a bug.Anyone else's dictionary not working? My autocorrect works ok but a red underlined word doesn't prompt me for a correction anymore.
I'm on a iPhone 6 and this OS is very sluggish.
You forgot to include streaming iTunes movies/TV shows on cellular data is now possible. It can be turned on in settings
- apparently, an earlier iOS Beta release notes said that voicemail transcription only works if the Siri language is set to English (US or Canadian). Later release notes don't seem to list this restriction. But, since my Siri language had been set to Australian, I switched to US English. That didn't seem to have any immediate effect, but when I rebooted, then I saw "Transcribing..." on the next incoming voice message, then the transcription appeared (and "Transcription not available" on older voice mails that were already there before I changed the Siri language/rebooted). Maybe just toggling Siri off/on and then rebooting would have worked (maybe no need to switch language).
