This actually happens with any numbers rapidly added, not just 1, 2, and 3.
Tried it on my 5c, no issues on 10.3.3 here.Confirmed in iOS 10.3.3 on iPhone 5.
1+2+3=24
Is that that much different than various people trying 1+2+3 on their iOS 11 devices and getting the right answer?Tried it on my 5c, no issues on 10.3.3 here.
Yeah, the math that really add$ up for Apple. The calculator must be using that New Math we keep hearing about.
ROFL!I have lost my job because of this calculator! Try adding subtracting etc you get wrong results. Looks like lot of innovation went into emoji!
Umm yeah, it’s a bug. The app not being able to recognize taps fast enough is a bug.
I agree it’s not the biggest of bugs, but there’s no point in trying to minimize it. Big or small, it’s still a bug.
If I type 1+2+3, it does not give me 6. And I don’t type that fast.
Maybe you forgot the /s, or you thought your sarcasm came through on its own?

I got this in 1978 and it worked perfectly and still works perfectly...

You guys get raises? How does that work?Odd, animation for the + button slows down the actual input of addition. You have to wait for + animation to complete for it to take the rushed 2nd addition.
You would figure That turning on “reduce motion” would help a little, but no.
Maybe I can have my boss calculate my raise before this is fixed!!
This is not a bug. This is an ad by Apple.
Word in Hollywood is Apple bought the rights to the TV show "24." Apple executes are working with producers to reboot the show. But this time, counterterrorism agent Jack Bauer fights the bad guys of the world, a day at a time using only Apple products. Kind of how Hawaii 50 is a Windows show, "24" will highlight products of the Apple ecosystem while providing compelling drama to the viewer.
Bet you $24 that this is how they calculated some of their prices. The calculator must be using that New Math we keep hearing about.
My 7 Plus on iOS 11.1 beta 5, I have to input it very slowly. Like absurdly slow, for it to be accurate. Is that that much different than various people trying 1+2+3 on their iOS 11 devices and getting the right answer?
