I simply don't update on day one, primarily I want to see what other users are reporting first for results. Also, the other reason I don't update immediately, is Apple servers are usually on overload and the update process is slow.

Kinda too early too tell. Each year the number of devices grows so the posts keep changing

i didnt install it on my 7. It slows down the phone a bit and has issues randomly around the ios. I will wait until 11.1 or when I get my X
I installed it on my 7Plus. Can honestly say I have not noticed any slowdown at all. In fact I actually got impression things were working a tad bit faster. Nothing significant mind you. Siri sounds much more real.

This will be due to all of the media scaremongering (especially in the UK) saying things like “Your apps will break with this update”

Ditto. I always wait to the first major update, 11.1 etc before jumping .

Actually I never upgrade to a new Os straight away, Apple or other....

What scaremongering? Just did a search in the UK, leading stories is that iOS 11 is about and benefits , nearly all positive. Few warning stories that 32 bit apps will be killed, this is not scaremongering, its fact.

But let me turn-off Bluetooth (or Wifi)!
I don't feel like owing my own device. You don't even have a 3000mAh battery!

Funny, Apple talks about Rights to Privacy, Right to this and that but

It's like an AI is forcing me to live & breathe in a certain way.

Question: How's that work in flights? Have to completely switch-off?
Your constant turning it on and off is more draining bruh.

I wonder what percentage of iPads have it. I’ve been running it on mine since WWDC.

iOS 11 introduces no new features in practice, so of course people are not crazy about upgrading ASAP. They will do, eventually. Just without the usual passion

Is it just me or do AR apps not work on iPhone6?? Tried 3 free ones and NONE work. What am I missing? I did a clean install and everything.

I think Apple decided that you need a 6s or later to run AR-apps.
They should be blocked to install on older devices, one would think.

You're probably missing reading the caveats by the developers who either have or have not extended ARKit to older phones. They should say under the description whether this app works with your phone.

So far, I've only seen iPhone 7 or newer phones supported by 3rd party devs.

Apple have had a very 'meh' year in my opinion. Either lack lustre technical updates or impressive updates ruined by crazy pricing.

Can't speak for everyone but they're just not exciting me like they used to and whilst in previous years I was one of those sat hitting refresh til this stuff was available, this year I didn't even realise this was available until today!

This is bad. 50% battery drain in less than hour just going on Facebook.
And phone hot to touch.
Not happy. This is on iPhone 7plus.
Why can't apple test their iOS fully before release. Every B****y time this kind of thing happens. Puts you off iPhones for good.
I haven't heard android becoming useless after every update!

Most Androids can't even update...

The new fonts all over in 11 are so thick and black and heavy. Yukk I hope I can change them to before.

Also my 7plus is running hot.

Aside from that where is the video showing the new features?

That's fine, and understandable.

Same here. I have this one app I use often, holding out for the devs to cave, and update.
If they drag their feet to long, I might look elsewhere for similar functionality. Am in no hurry though.
