It’s true. I have an iPhone 6s Plus. I can feel the difference between iOS 11 a d 10.3.3Back that statement up I see no evidence of that
And I experience sudden animation stutters on my iPad Pro 2017
Worst iOS to date.

I'm still on iOS 10.
No need to speculate, I'll tell you why...
tl;dr; - major trust issues
- I'm nervous that iOS 11 will degrade the performance of my phone.
- ...
I figure I'll reconsider upgrading my 6S once 11.1 comes out.
It's pretty bad on the 7 plus. Pretty much same experience but add in the music app wouldn't open and I couldn't watch any video content from any source. At least with 11.01 and a complete wipe and restore it is useable but still laggy and I still find apps that crash unless I delete and reinstall them. I downloading 11.02 right now to see if I can get back to 10.3.3 performance. Easily one of the worse update experiences I've had in a long long time on any product. It's not clear why?? Seriously? Guess you don't have an older device then!! No one is updating cos it's ruining every device below 7. iPhone 6 here updated, slowed everything down, buggy, jumpy apps and transitions, 11 of my favourite old apps got deleted or didn't start. And my battery was down from 90% to 50% in about 2 hours. (Shut up about indexing - it's not that, stop being stupid) after 2 days I downgraded again. Back on 10.3.3 now and my phone is perfect!! PERFECT! Battery lasts ALL day long. Apple sucks now. Period
Ahh the old “this has been my experience on my one device out of several million therefore everyone else must have the same experience” thinking.Back that statement up I see no evidence of that
Oh wow, an OS is installed on many devices after Apple spams the hell out of their users to install it. I wonder why that happens..
I think it's totally clear. The main difference this year is that any 32-bit apps will stop working. Many people still have 32-bit apps they still use and so are holding off on iOS 11 for now in the hope that these apps get 64-bit updates soon. It's not clear why iOS 11 adoption is lagging so far behind iOS 10 adoption...
Seriously, i had to really pay attention to click to avoid installing it. It's pretty aggressive now their install nags.
You can go back to 10.3.3 still. Do a manually re-install from iTunes. If you have an iTunes backup you're set, if you only use iCloud that backup wont work since its now iOS 11 onlyWhy? Battery drains too fast when waching video. There is no noticible new features. Ugly UI. I wish I could go back to iOS10.
After seeing my iPhone 5c degrade significantly over the course of two years, from iOS 7 to iOS 9, I decided not to upgrade my new iPhone SE. It is still running iOS 9 it came with a year and a half ago, and is working great, apps still get updated.
The only app that simply refused to work without a software update is - and I kid you not - "Apple Store"
If you want to disable the iOS update Reminders, you can do the following listed below:
- Open the Settings app and go to “General”
- Choose “Storage & iCloud Usage”
- Go to “Manage Storage”
- Locate the iOS software update that is nagging you and tap on it.
- Tap on “Delete Update” and confirm that you want to delete the update*

I wish I had kept with iOS 9 as well. Oh well live and learn.
People don't even bother installing an update that slows down their device without adding any new feature or functionality. Possibly the worst iOS release to date.
