Columns that show full filenames by automatically adjusting column widths in the Finder. Oh wait - that's MacOS....

EDIT: ok, ok. I'll describe a feature that I'd like to see in iOS: a timer that indicates how many minutes FaceBook takes to start up.

The 12.9" iPad already has a numbers row above the keyboard (one of the thing I like about this iPad).

I would like Apple to improve:
- their own contacts app. They are missing all the thoughtful experience things like auto suggesting/populating city, state, zip when filling out contact cards; switching descriptors from "home@ to "work" when one inputs a company name, etc.
- I would like a TouchID kill switch that would require p/w entry to unlock phone (a 3rd pty p/w manager recently implemented something like this).
- double decker dock;
- ability to access functions via their icons in menu bar (add also an Option to add apple to allow access to settings app as per macOS);
- more thought toward tighter integration of iOS and macOS iconography and UI features as there could be more of this w/o harming the functionality of either.)

Edit:
- Apple factory (Not 3rd pty) vpn;
- Apple factory (Not 3rd pty) Tor interface;

For us with less than perfect sight and don't want to put on glasses just to use the iphone (nor bother with the lackluster work arounds) IOS should take a page from Android and allow customization of screen based on size of font and icon. Example being - front icon menu matrix size of 3x4, 4x5 and 4x6 etc. This should have been included long long ago but alas, I keep forgetting Apple tells* us what we want.

No, you misunderstand, unlocking a mac from a iWatch can be done, unlocking on a new Macbook Pro is also possible, there's no unlocking from an iPhone.(For older Macs without TouchId)
Oh, gotcha...I thought it was iPhone or Watch.

You can already do that on screens 4.7" and more

PLEASE MAKE INCOMING CALLS A NOTIFICATION with the answer/no answer icons.

I really hate when I'm doing something and the call takes over my whole screen.

Other than that, I'll consider getting an iPad if it was multi-user support.

And for christ's sake DEFAULT APPS.

Are there any plans to update Bluetooth compatibility within iOS PowerPoint?

Are there any plans to allow Bluetooth home buttons to activate Siri again? (Before iOS 10 released it was not affected)

Having been on Android until Verizon finally added the iPhone, i have to say Android type widgets are an absolute useless abomination. Please dear god keep the garbage on Android. The way Apple does it is far more useful.

"Call Interface" is so simple, but it is my number one. I have a Mac, iPhone, iPad. When a call comes in every one except for the Mac has the display completely overtaken by the call UI. On iPhone it makes sense. On iPad it is the dumbest thing I have ever seen (Especially on the 12.9" iPad "pro".) Let us turn calls into normal pull down notifications, please.

I want to be able to place the icons where I want, perhaps down the side of the screen rather than all along the top. And on the iPad, I'd like to be able to adjust the spacing between the icons for the possibility of fitting another row on a single screen, and more apps within a row.

While many are waiting for iOS 11 I'm here waiting for an iOS 10.3.1/10.3.2 jailbreak for my iPhone 7 Plus...
You might be waiting for a long time! IOS security has become a nessecity at Apple and in the user community. Expect any security risk that pops up to be hammered down.

- Touch ID for locking apps - Third-party developers can use Touch ID as a second layer of security for locking iOS apps, but some users would like to see this feature expanded to encompass all apps. The option to lock apps like Photos with Touch ID would prevent them from being accessed without a fingerprint or a password even if someone bypassed an iPhone passcode

This!

So you can handover your iPhone to someone without that person being able to access everything on your phone.

“Complications” yes, a thousand times yes

My greatest desire since the first iPhone is to get weather on the lock screen. I was excited when initial rumors spoke of a notification center, but that solution doesn't work out all, even more so since the iPhones new "lift-to-wake" function.

Time and date are "first-class" pieces of information on the iPhone. I should be able to make weather first class, always updated and always visible at a glance.

I don't believe that is correct. One can "enlarge text and make fonts bold." That is the customizing part and the rest deals with work arounds for visually impaired. Neither are the same as directly changing the icon size and amount per screen. We have zoom controls etc. which again, are a work around and not a solution.

how about the ability manage the spring board (pages) you still cannot add a page in-between or en-mas move pages around.

Apple will introduce the next-generation version of iOS, iOS 11, on June 5 at its Worldwide Developers Conference. While WWDC is less than two weeks away, we've haven't heard many details on what we can expect.

There's talk about an overhauled design and an updated user interface along with rumors of new functionality for the iPad, but beyond that, we don't know what's coming, and we don't know what that new user interface will look like. In the absence of rumors, we've taken a look at some of the most-desired features MacRumors readers are hoping for in iOS 11, culled from our forums.

Unsurprisingly, many readers are looking forward to a new design and an overhauled interface. Here are some of the things readers want in a design refresh:

- Animated icons - Allowing developers to add small animations to app icons is something that iOS users have been wanting for several years. With access to subtle animations, apps like Fantastical could feature an icon with the current date, or third-party weather apps could display the current temperature.

- iPhone complications - The Apple Watch interface features multiple complications or small icons that let Apple Watch users glean information at a glance. On the iPhone, complications could be added to the lock screen or the Home screen to serve the same function, letting users see information like weather or activity level without needing to open an app.

- Customizable Control Center - iOS 10 made a mess of the Control Center, splitting it into three screens. MacRumors readers are hoping for a more unified design with the ability to choose what icons and functions are displayed. Expanded 3D Touch for more granular control over Control Center options would also improve the Control Center.

Loved all the suggestions, the ability to lock the Photos app with touchID would be pretty nice :D
