ok update for everyone, seems to be a lot better after an hour using 12.3 .. I still say its not as snappy as 12.2 but not getting any hang ups quitting apps or swiping them to remove from switcher like I was earlier.. So going from 12.2 to this beta be patient it does settle in ..
Good to hear. I upgraded and initial impressions, everything seems more snappy. App switcher very responsive.

Is it just me or is the black inside the battery icon a bit smaller? I dont think the white outline was so visible

Notch-iphone is needed

I’m on the new beta, I haven’t got access to the new tv app, but can’t download the old videos app neither?

Translation for text on picture: For this app there are specific functions needed that are currently not available on this device.

I’m on the new beta and I got access to the new tv app but without streaming partner. So it’s basically the old videos app in a new design.

I think if you don't care about the new TV app then stay on 12.2

Agreed. I’m not really excited about it, at least so far. I installed the Apple TV beta app on my iPhone and iPad, waiting for a jailbreak to be released.

My iPhone SE is jail broken on 12.1.2 beta 3 and I’m loving it. Dark mode is bada**.

I upgraded via iTunes with the .ipsw over 12.2.
Questions about doing it that way, doesn’t that completely erase your device? Do you backup, then install and restore it doing it that way? And what benefits does that way have over OTA? I’ve always done it OTA.

Nothing is erased. I backup and then just hold the shift key down in Windows, choose check for update in iTunes and then point it to the .ipsw and it updates the the device to 12.3. OTA, iTunes the same. Some prefer one way or the other. Don’t think there is any benefit one way or the other.

After about 3 hours of usage on my iPad and iPhone with 12.3, everything seems to run as well as 12.2 and maybe even a tad bit smoother. We’ll see over the next day or two. Can always go back to 12.2.:)

Is it just me or is the animation when swiping up an app to go back to the home screen different. There’s something about the icon that seems different. Anyone noticing this?

Edit: It’s like a zoom effect.
