My settings app hasn't had any issues. Do you have all the stock apps installed? I have all the stock apps installed and hid the ones I don't use in a folder. That's all I can think of that may cause the unresponsiveness.
I wouldn't even know. Where can I find a list of all of the stock apps?

How is the battery life on the beta? I hope it is an improvement from 12.2. My iPhone 8 didn’t like 12.2 at all as far as battery life is concerned.
It's all about the same and how you use your phone.

There is a huge bug in 12.2.
My 6s battery draining like never before, literally watching the battery percentage drop before my eyes.
It's not a bug or everyone's phone would be draining. Do a wipe and clean install, or reset your device data.

Has anyone had a random pop-up about using iCloud Messages? Just had it happen to me randomly. I was already using iCloud Messages. Didn’t get a screenshot.

Just wondering if any fellow UK users have the option to set up Apple Pay Cash on this update (in Settings)? It still won’t work as it’s only US but for some reason the option is still on mine. Ta.

Man, my MsMax did NOT like 12.2. This 12.3 beta has my phone moving along nicely! Everything is so much....wait for it.....smoother and faster.

Gotcha

Seriously, my phone is humming along perfectly so far! So happy that all the little (and big) bugs are squashed for now. It’s like a brand new phone. Couldn’t tell you why.

So basically 12.3 beta 1 is less problematic than 12.2 public release?

Who cares about icons?

I mean it is the first thing you see and some app designs have been absolutely atrocious (recalls back to iOS 6/7 when everything went flat lol) but it isn’t *that* big of a deal to downgrade to an earlier version just to have the old icons like the OP was suggesting. I still think the News app is *too* white, but it’s grown on me. Love the TV app though.

Yep same thing just happened to me and I’ve had it enabled before today. I thought this might be related to this beta so took a screenshot.
That’s exactly the message I received. Thank you for confirming.

It’s running better for me than 12.2, which is a very nice surprise.

The should be an arrow on the right of the details. Click on that and it will show the map location.

What version iPad are you using? On my iPP 9.7 everything is working as it should. No problem with my hand resting on the screen.
I have the 2018 12.9 Pro

I have that too, all the way back to iOS 12.0. I’m in Canada so maybe they are rolling it out soon?

Have that since they launched Apple Pay here in late 2018. Don‘t think it showing up means anything.

Thanks. i addressed it for us UK users as we don’t have Apple Pay Cash here and no sign of it being available either. From what I’ve read on the Internet it looks as though it’s there because it’s the beta iOS
