I really want better notifications. Group chats constantly interrupt my reading and music listening with unnecessary overlays and "bings" which also lower the volume on my music. It's all getting to be really annoying.
Why are they adding dark mode? No one wants it And no one will use it if it comes out.. what a waste of billions of dollars to develop it
That's more important to me than dark mode or any of the other stuff! How about letting me plug in an external hard drive into the usbc port on my iPad Pro?
I also wanted dark mode for my Mac and it's so confusing I couldn't even work. I use the original... So who cares? I rather have new real useful features, not an inverted mode. These are things that people have been asking for on a virtually non-stop basis for a long time. Every time there's a beta of a damn point release the first comment is "dark mode?"

[doublepost=1555385848][/doublepost]has anyone seen the volume indicator in the instagram app? it's tiny on the left corner of my XS max. it's awesome & unobstructive. They need to use the available wasted space of the notch.
it could be a nice energy saver for oled iPhones
Apple are going to have to be VERY careful with their implementation of Dark Mode in order to conceal the grey banding and uniformity issues on their OLED models. If you don’t know what I mean, you will soon enough...
Battery life has gotten worse since the X models. It’s most noticeable with the plus-sized devices which have much worse battery life than their pre-face ID versions. While I do recognize that not all people have the same needs/use devices the same way, for me, battery life has not been an issue with the iPhone X, can't remember the time when I had to charge the phone before the evening. So for me, battery life is not a big deal at all.
I'm more hyped for iOS 13 than I am the new iPhones
This makes perfect sense. The hardware is just the canvas. The artwork is the software.Ditto. Especially since I'm not sure if I'll be upgrading my Xs this year. But I somehow always get more pumped for software updates than hardware updates.
Its a nice feature that just allows you to glance over at your phone and see any info you want without having to pick it up or without needing to activate the screen. Android phones have had it for years, Is actually a useful feature IMO (When I had a Note 7 for the few weeks before the recall, I really grew to love it)
I use many apps with their own dark modes and I see no banding.

Yeah, well. For me is the opposite and I consider myself moderate to heavy user. But to be fair I only need my phone's battery to last until I am ready to go to bed.
This is not something that people can have different opinions on. Even apple says the battery life is less.
Let’s hope so.we will know when we know. Just because someone found out some new things doesn't mean anything else is off the table.
Just today we learned about a major new thing.Let’s hope so.
I guess no hope for Always On Display
Floating windows for ipad multi-tasking like a NORMAL computer. A decent file system, not this "lucky dip" if a file opens with something on the extentions. The ability to plug in a USB or Hard drive and get files off physical media, my god! Better cross app integration, like endnote citations within word for example. Mouse pointer support when its hooked up to a screen! Basic stuff like that
