Why are they adding dark mode? No one wants it And no one will use it if it comes out.. what a waste of billions of dollars to develop it
Excuse me what?! I don’t know if this is a joke or not? I will use dark mode as will lots of people. And trust me, it does not take billions to change a color scheme.

How about a legit files app with none of the current limitations?! That should be top of the list.
Yes please I agree! The files app is horrid.

Things to add:
- TouchID/FaceID access for photos, messages etc.
- Better people recognition in photos
- Send later for Mail
- Expanded photo editing in photos
- Variable Home screens positions
- More custom settings for Home App
- Better files explorer
- Camera with double tap to switch cam
finally a list that I can relate to :D

This would be great. There's absolutely no reason for most people to make phone calls either, and yet I still get them. *anger intensifies*

You're have it flipped. LCDs have an always on backlight across the entire display, while OLED/mLED only powers individual pixels.

Yeah I thought about that and you're probably right. I wear a watch so it's not really an issue for me.

One thing I'd love in iOS 13 is for incoming phone calls to go to a drop-down notification if you're using the device. There's absolutely no reason for it to completely take over your screen anymore.

I would very much like this but even more so I would like for SIRI to stop taking over the entire screen while im speaking to her. For example there are several times I'd like for Siri to do math for me but the numbers I need are on my phone screen and as soon as I talk to her I can't see them anymore... Also if im asking about some other information on the screen (aside from math) again she blocks me out as soon as I begin to speak. I don't mind her displaying the results on the screen once im done talking but I wish it would at least be transparent or something while she is being spoken to.

I hope this is /s

In other news: Apple is finally implementing things jailbreak devs have been making for years...

The phone UI better get a facelift, namely not interrupting what is already taking place and dominating the screen when it can be accomplished in a banner.

Long wish list:

1) How about some UI consistency? Swipe down on ipad, but up on phone for control center. Keyboard layouts are different between the two devices as well.

2) Have the TV app remember where I was last time I used it - STOP switching to sports (which I never use), or back to recently added. The music app remembers that I only use downloaded content, the TV app should too. This would also fix the hang/lag when launching the app on a crappy network (i.e. airplanes) that don't enable streaming anyway.

3) Give us a list view for music (like we have on iTunes) for those of us with large libraries.

4) Let us completely disable/remove the constant pushing for Apple Music or other streaming/services content unless we actually subscribe to it.

5) Remember that most of us are not using our devices exclusively in Cupertino while on big fat broadband pipes. Not every can/will/does stream.

6) Little Snitch for iOS - outbound application firewall. Let me control how/when/where they phone home.

7) Support to change my DNS Provider while on cellular data to kill the data harvesting.

8) Fix airpod bluetooth paring so that it doesn't take 30 seconds every time we switch devices.

9) Now that we all are using password managers, STOP prompting us to enter our complex, random Apple ID passwords during updates and enable the password manager integration on all dialog boxes.

10) fix the stuttering/freezing in the settings app, and the touch failures on the ipad since the last update.

Oh, and while you're at it, give Siri a brain.

If apple release a dark mode but only has it on the OLED phones I will be pissed!

Okay, I think you missed something about the new volume indicator. The email the redditor sent to Craig (and which he replied to) was a link to another reddit post, containing a mock-up of a new volume indicator. Take a look for yourself... it's pretty obvious this mock-up was ironic, and Craig's reply was definitely in the same vein.

So... that email alone provides zero evidence for a new volume display!

Improved ScreenTime controls, please! This is vital for parents and the current controls are a bit of a mess!

Very true. The Controls are setup in a way that apple can point and say look we have controls...We care about health. But in truth they really take a lot of effort to work. Need to be granular on a per app basis. And you should be able to schedule multiple down times in the day, currently you can only set 1 downtime period per day.

AIRPOD BLUETOOTH PAIRING IS SOMETIMES VERY BAD

What a bunch of c**p. When one of the features in a full number update is the stupid, obtrusive volume icon, you wonder what is apple really doing?
No wonder Samsung and hwawei are selling better. Apple invented the smartphone and now lags behind in innovation. It's so sad. By hey u can buy Tim Cook's book "the genius who took apple to the next level"... What level? Steve needs to resuscitate!
Of course it's an update (part of a flurry of updates that will be changed in ios 13), but MacRumors' editors choose to discuss it in a headliner. Steve is long gone and he's not coming back.

One of my hopes for each new version of iOS is for Apple to permit users who Think Different and don't use first-party clients like Safari and Mail to specify their own default apps.

Apple should give users The Power To Be Your Best.
