Can't control HomeKit devices on my Watch S4 (watchOS 7.01) while it was working with previous beta. Also don't know if it's related but the Watch app doesn't show my watch at the top as it used to. However my wife's doesn't show it either on iOS 7.01 so I'm a bit confused here. ☺️

When my phone is upside down as it is when pocketed and I get a call, it drops as soon as the screen wakes up as I’m pulling it out. If phone is laying on a table or right side up it is fine. Makes it difficult to pocket carry. Reported but I wanted to ask if anyone else is having this issue.

I don’t know if this comment will help anybody else, or even if it’s just me, but the difference in battery life between 14.2 and all of the other iOS 14 betas is incredible. Maybe my other installs had issues and the 14.2 kind of reset them or reinstalled the software in some way, I don’t know. But I could watch my percentage trickle down before and now it’s night and day. I hope it stays this way. :) 2020 SE.

I have to agree, this beta is worse than beta1 for me. I have noticed worse cellular connection and my apple music and spotify freezing on me!

IpSE2020

Anecdotal, but for me, the previous two builds would drain my battery very quickly. I couldn't make it through a day without charging (and I am not a heavy user). With B2, my battery after my morning "routine" (reading, journaling) was at 97%. Previously (like yesterday and many days before that) the same workload would have driven the battery down to 85% or so. In my book, *so far*, it seems to be better.

Same here except that I do consider myself a heavy user, and I was using battery packs to charge sometimes 2, 3 or even more times a day because I would run down. And that was in low power mode. I really hated trying the iOS 14 betas on the 2020 SE.

Ever since the new install of 14.2 it has been night and day difference. Been streaming music and browsing the internet for about 3.5 hours now and haven’t even dropped 16%. It’s great.

Forgot to add that phone calls don't appear on the watch as well. A reboot of the phone fixes it temporarily but after a while it's back again. Quite bad beta.

My HomePod won’t do scenes or Siri Shortcuts for the lights anymore.. just says that scene isn’t in my home yet it works when I use my phone lol

Guys, how on earth it's feasible to see in the sys specs 14.2, not a BETA, 14.2 - tell me pls, not mine to be exact, a friend's of mine.

Really hope for an update today!

That's what I've been trying to find out - for all I know there is only BETA, 14.2

But I can clearly see 14.2 - stable? how can it be?

If you're talking about in Settings, it doesn't show beta numbers. If you tap on 14.2, you'll get a version number which indicates it's a beta build.

Do you see the word “stable”?

iOS betas always display the OS version. They never show the word “beta” in them.

Is anyone else experiencing an issue with Airpods that everytime you wake your screen you get the Airpods Connected popup? I'm sure this was an issue in 14.0 betas and thought it was resolved? Could be wrong.

Go into your AirPods settings and switch from “Automatically” to “When Last Connected to This iPhone” and it’ll stop.

It's by design, as part of the auto-switching functionality.

New bug on both IPP11 2020 and 11PM

Open a photo (screenshot) in Photos. Go into Edit / Markup. Save.
The OS will not allow changes to be saved. Even tried this on a duplicate photo. Says “Unable to Save Changes. An error occured while saving. Please try again later.”
The photos are on device - not in the cloud.

Tried a reboot and still encounter the same error.

There is definitely something off with Beta 2.
11PM - this is the third or fourth time now the device on a wireless charger that it failed to charge overnight.
Plugging it into a charging cable also fails to charge (no green battery charging synbol/sound thingy).
A reboot has fixed the issue for the moment. Now charges on both the cable and wireless.

Previously reported.

Not seeing this on XR. Just tried and had no issue with saving the edited screen shot.

I’ve encountered this on my iPhone 11 Pro. Very annoying.

Safari
Had a conf call via GoToMeeting. The conf failed in Safari giving me an invalid address.
When I did the conf via the GoToMeeting app, it worked just fine.

Starting to notice more and more things with Safari ... :(

I know it says that default Browser and eMail is supposed to be fixed, but mine keeps resetting upon reboots. Am I the only one on Beta 2 experiencing this still?

I don't remember ever seeing a "Learn..." option. It currently doesn't seem to do anything though.
