I had the same issue last week. There were a few speed traps I drove by and reported that weren’t on the map. Hopefully this gains more traction with users.ok, so i tried to use it this weekend and there wasn't a single report on the road from anyone. how long do we think it will be before this will be as reliable as waze?..
that's exactly my experience. i ended up placing two speed trap warnings and then asked my wife to power up her waze, 'cause i was going pretty fastI had the same issue last week. Apple is light years behind Waze algorithm. I am not sure if they can ever catch up. I trust Waze any day over Apple Maps.Still not as good as Waze reporting. Getting there.![]()
huhhh never!ok, so i tried to use it this weekend and there wasn't a single report on the road from anyone. how long do we think it will be before this will be as reliable as waze?..
yea? well that would be a shame. i'm not a huge fan of apple maps, but waze is hideous...huhhh never!
The more that use it and report the better it is for all driversApple is heading in the right direction but this feature will only be valuable if a lot of iPhone users use it. Waze is very useful because of the many people using it and keeping the map up-to-date with hazards and police sightings. And as was posted earlier, this feature should not require us to enter a route. It should be available at all times, just like it functions in Waze. I really appreciate the improvements Apples is making to Maps, it's becoming the best looking mapping software available and this feature would put it over the top if they can match the ease of use Waze provides.
