Can anyone help to confirm if they resolved high CPU usage when browsing photo app?

It appears in iOS 15.0.2

My phone will get warm after browsing photo by 5mins. If I open my CPU monitoring app, the photo app will reach 75 o 100% of loading when I scroll, browsing and zoom photos.

It is annoying:confused:

Is anyone else having FaceID issues? It kept asking for my pin so I reset it. Now it won’t even accept my face to setup. iPhone 13 Pro.
13 pro max here.

Not to that extent, but it’s definitely not as quick and consistent as it was on my 12 pro max. 🥺

100% success rate on my 12 pro max.

Been a bit buggy on my 13 pro max.

Hoping it’s a software issue. 🤦‍♂️

it was strange, like an half hour later it started working and zero problems since. Almost like a service it needed wasn’t available

Keep a eye on it, let me know if you have anymore issues, mine seems to be working better, but nowhere near as good as my 12 pro max.

I installed beta 4 via OTA this afternoon, and the function of locating the iPhone turned off worked perfectly. tonight I updated it with the ipsw file to make a cleaner update, and the function stopped working. It broke an important function and now I will have to go down to beta 3 again to go up OTA to 4 and get it back to work. what a mess.

Safari Favorites Bar not working for me either, 2018 11” iPad Pro.
Ditto, 2021 12.9" iPad Pro. I can get it to work temporarily if I go into Settings and toggle the tab bar setting, but eventually it stops working again.

Addendum: If I open new tabs while the Favorites bar is broken, it starts working; however, if I close all but the first one, it breaks again. Toggling the tab bar style in Settings seems to fix it until Safari gets unloaded from memory, and it ends up broken again when it relaunches.

I have the same problem with iOS 15.0.2, already had it with 15.0.1. I wonder if 15.1 solves it.

@Pearsey With regards to ipsw updating to beta 4, shift click update or control so I don’t lose my data?

Download the B4 IPSW, then your basically clicking on the “check for update” button, but holding down, alt or control or shift, what ever button works to give you the manual control selecting, so you can select the IPSW of your choice. On a mac this process deletes the IOS, only, and reinstalls the fresh copy you’ve selected. Apps and data aren’t touched, so stay the same. (I believe from people here, this is the same process on windows iTunes)

you can use this process to upgrade and downgrade 👍🏼

All good here on my 12.
You got anything stuck like a large video trying to upload to iCloud?

otherwise try a hard restart, reinstall iOS to trouble shoot.

but if your on 15.0.2, your in the wrong thread. People are on 15.1 beta 4 here.

this will be more helpful as we are testing 15.1 beta 4. Hard to relate to your problem when we are on different operating systems.

no issues on my Ip 12, ever like this since iOS 15 beta 1.

you talking about Find My ?

If you are, not had any issues with it using OTA or IPSW on 15. IP12.

you tried logging out of iCloud and log back in?

For me – I believe my work Exchange calendar is part of the issue. Others have reported calendar subscriptions as a potential cause.

For anyone who IS NOT having Calendar issues:

Do you have an Exchange calendar, or subscription calendar?
I don't have that issue. I have two subscription calendars and one Exchange calendar.

The only issue I have, and I've had it since widgets existed (despite Apple saying "potential fix in iOS 14") is that events in the widget are removed after 15 minutes, even if the event duration is much longer. No one apart from me seems to care about this, so I doubt it's going to be fixed. I've deleted the widget and use the one with Readdle Calendars (the free one)

Thank you for the reply. I suspect if it is an issue only to those new iPhone 13 or pro.
Mentioning this problem because I had it on 15.0.2, just wish to know if it still exists in 15.1 beta 4.

Still appreciated it bro

Seems I am not alone. Really wish they could fix it earlier.
