Thank you for the reply. I suspect if it is an issue only to those new iPhone 13 or pro.
Mentioning this problem because I had it on 15.0.2, just wish to know if it still exists in 15.1 beta 4.

Still appreciated it bro
I have not turned on iCloud photo. So it is a pure bug encountered in photo decoding process I guess.

Guys I have issues in my iPhone 13 Pro app switching. Sliding left and right doesn´t work like before, it was pretty smooth before but I don´t know if it is the new phone or iOS, need help here! thanks
Works fine on my 12PM.

Thank goodness the Photos / system data issue is much better on this one. Didn’t happen immediately, but I’ve reclaimed just over 20GB from iOS 15 and previous betas.

Battery Loving that flat chart while I slept last night. Focus was on.

I don't have that issue. I have two subscription calendars and one Exchange calendar.

The only issue I have, and I've had it since widgets existed (despite Apple saying "potential fix in iOS 14") is that events in the widget are removed after 15 minutes, even if the event duration is much longer. No one apart from me seems to care about this, so I doubt it's going to be fixed. I've deleted the widget and use the one with Readdle Calendars (the free one)
I use Fantasical. Great app that integrates with Reminders and the widget is beautiful.
This. I've rarely seen anyone complain about this. Reminds me of a user who used to complain throughout ios 14 that the messages app had a visual bug.

This is the same. Rarely see someone complain about this animation bug.
I just had a play with Reachability (never use it) and it looks perfectly smooth to me. Maybe I'm not as sensitive to frame rate differences as this device has led me to believe.

I hope it’s fixed soon

Even if they don't fix it, people will still lap up the new iPhones and new iOS next year. That's what Apple counts on, now.

I do remember the time when they shipped software that matched the capabilities of the new hardware they were releasing. The divide between the release of hardware and compatible software has been widening for a while now.

I say this out because it pinches that they keep releasing software that is not ready for their hardware just yet - it shows a disregard and arrogance towards consumers.

Or maybe a little over ambitious adding things like SharePlay and UC to just pull them to perfect them later.. I think and its just my opinion the hardware in the 13PM vs say like the 7 plus is such a big difference that they both run 15.0 software and they have to make sure both phones operate at a high level even though they are completely different phones which is a huge task .. I guess I’m in the camp that I can live with the little bugs that does not effect my day to day operations of my phone but I understand your point..

Only thing that has stopped working for me is the Good Morning screen on my 13PM after waking up when sleep mode is off .. maybe a fluke ill see what happens tomorrow morning..but everything else working great (IPSW)

I did my usual commute home yesterday and a bit of driving last night as well as my morning commute today and I didn't have a single instance of the music stopping on its own. On B3, when connected via Bluetooth the current track would pause and then when I pushed play, be it on the phone or on my head unit, it would restart the track.

Got a question for you guys...

When in the ios 15 beta program, we could expect a lot of bugs in the earlier betas. That´s a given, right? How is it in these 15.1 betas? My thought is that the "basic" stuff from the 15 works as it should and some new stuff is being ironed out? And some polishing on the "old" 15 just to make it even better...

Am I lost in the head or am I on to something?

My point being... it should be "safer" to use the 15.1 betas than the early 15 betas, right?

Not necessarily.

Old bugs that were supposedly fixed in 15.0 series may resurface inexplicably. New ones may be introduced that might cripple your everyday experience to the point that it is unfeasible to use as a daily driver.

A beta is a beta - no such thing as a safe beta. I do not know this but I would say Apple might explicitly say so even for public betas. A beta is a beta.

Absolutely. Most of the complaints I see around here are from people that refuse to use the beta, even though it's perfectly safe and resolves most of the issues that seem to be affecting so many. The one issue I was having with beta 3 seems to have been resolved in beta 4.

Not necessarily.

What makes it "not safe"? You can easily revert to a public release if you do your due diligence with an archived backup and understand the process.

True that, nothing of a showstopper, but Apple used to release software that worked for the hardware released completely, not in a half-baked manner.

If the new display is 120 Hz, we would have 120 Hz working throughout the OS before release. Today, it is happily accepted for Apple to talk of future releases. Look at the amazing hardware we have for you today! Available a week later, and we are still ironing out the software to work with the newest features, so please expect a few months delay for those features.

Same went with AirPower. Why announce when it was still in testing phase? They had to shelve it for whatever reason. Maybe they thought to introduce a new money-making formula with MagSafe, but that is besides the point I am making here, that's a whole other discussion. :D

The context was "safer" to use 15.1 betas versus 15.0. I replied there is no such thing as a safe beta, and I thought I was speaking in context of bugs, having used the word amply. I was not speaking in context of bricked devices that you cannot bring back to life, nor that you couldn't restore your device to an old, non-beta state. :)

I understand that a beta is a beta. But what I mean is that in this perticular case the bugs are not as obvious as in 15.0 beta 4 (early betas)
