the scheduled summary of notifications works for me on alternate days: one day it is displayed and the next it is not, and so on. for the rest, in battery consumption of the best versions that I have used.

I would like to go on general public release iOS 15.1.1 from iOS 15.2 beta 3 is that possible without losing anything on iPhone 13 mini? My daughter has a MacBook Pro if that makes a difference. Too many bugs iOS 15.2 beta 3 has for me and auto brightness is broken and CarPlay is also broken. Thx.

Might as wait since the next beta should be the coming week.

If you can’t wait then put device into recovery mode and update the device which will grab the latest signed release. Just make sure to do a backup before in case. Don’t confuse recovery mode with DFU (no update option except restore).

I don’t use Apple Music or auto brightness or CarPlay, so it’s been solid for me ??

That’s nice. I sometimes use Apple Music though I want to get back to my library that I have from the days before streaming was hippier than owning your own copy.

But automatic brightness works well for me. Guess my eyes are okay so far. For my pop, consistently requires couple notches above what the automatic wants to set it at.

Yep thank you for that I’ll wait then. Do you think next update is this coming week or the next? Are we now on 1 week cycle?

I am waiting for the ghost to show up. Then, I will boot in safe mode and kick the rascal out and hopefully that will be the end of it.

@Pearsey It showed up. I booted in safe mode, connected to Wi-Fi and have deleted the account in Internet Accounts.

Giving it five minutes, then will restart normally. Hoping it never shows up again.

Interesting you had to connect to Wi-Fi.
? ? mine hasn’t come back since.

I saw I shocked you earlier, here’s a bit more context, Spotify has a better selection of music (I did 6 months on Apple Music, 6 on Spotify, never left Spotify). 50% brightness indoors is perfect, push it up 90% outside. And there isn’t the availability of Carplay on the ones I like (but id love to have CarPlay) so yeah, take all that away as I know it’s giving problems for people, and I’ve got a pretty solid B3 now Mail and Gmail been fixed which is working seamlessly and rapid these past two days. Dare I mention no iPhone storage bug, that got fixed months ago with a full restore ?

Surprised about auto brightness, shocked about nothing, dear erstwhile Pears like the fruit. ?

Spotify has been all about music. No wonder they are able to hold their ground still. Although I wonder for how long more. Apple seems to be becoming what they were seemingly up against, in a poetic way.

About my friendly annoying ghost, I thought to connect to Wi-Fi in safe boot mode so as to help sync changes to Apple. I hope I did the right thing. Ghosts can be finicky, no?

There's tons of cars in the UK that have CarPlay, that are not expensive when it comes to cars.

I just bought my nephew a 2017 Ford Fiesta, used, for £12,000 and that has CarPlay and my mum bought a Toyota C-HR a couple years ago new for £22,000 which hard CarPlay too. I wouldn't consider either as being 'Megabucks'.....??

Re-fraise: that I’m interested in.

I got my CHR in 17, a year to early. Gutted.

Apple Music actually has a bigger song catalog than Spotify ?

after reset of ios settings, notifications get disabled for few apps.
They don’t show up at all in settings > Notifications, till the app is uninstalled and reinstalled .

My Office 365 calendar won’t load at all on iPad. So I figure I’ll try deleting the app and re-installing. Deleted. Now search in App Store doesn’t work; infinite “loading,” so I can’t find the Calendar app to re-install. Delightful.
