I envision it working like this: Apple uses the camera to scan your food and ML to identify it, and the LIDAR to take a volumetric scan to determine how much you’re eating. From there it can estimate caloric intake.

Put. The. Health. App. On. iPad. And. Mac. Please!!

I mean really, it’s been syncing to iCloud for years, there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t be able to view and manage our own health data on our own devices.

And if more features like food tracking are incoming, I’m going to want to see that data on the larger screen more than ever.

Anyway, I do like the idea of native food tracking coming to Health. As a frequent snacker trying to cut down on the habit, I use Lose It. That data already syncs to Health to record certain values and nutrients, but having one fewer third party app knowing what I'm up to would be nice.

Yes! More options for notifications.

I would love to be able to have notifications go to both the watch and phone without having to turn off wrist detection.

Right now I have wrist detection off 100% of the time and it is a shame.

Would be nice to track foods like others apps do, including scanning bar codes on packaging and having favorite meals.

track, track, track... until one day you'll realize the World has changed into a Sims game just because everybody thought it was cool to track everything.

A few thoughts on iOS 15:
- Food tracking: Likely to be a database of US foods only, and thus completely useless to everyone not in the US. Leave it to the regional apps; they already do it better.

- It would be great if, when I connect a Lightning cable to charge my iPhone, that the Lock Screen wouldn't completely clear just to tell me how much it's already charged, thus delaying me from doing anything on my phone, like pausing an audiobook. Surely the Lock Screen could just show me it's charging without removing the screen's functionality?

- The Books app: When I've previously been playing an audiobook and I want to play a different chapter, I launch Books and the current chapter is paused. Great, so I go to the chapter list and tap the next chapter. I\m taken back to the now playing screen with the new chapter showing. I press the Play button, and what starts playing? The current chapter, NOT the one I just selected. I've bugged this so many times, so I'd like it to be fixed finally.

- The Music app: Please stop refreshing the screen almost every time I see the Listen Now tab. I'm about to tap something, and Music decides to refresh and apply that tap to the new item under my finger. Please, just leave the screen as it is; I should be able to refresh it myself with a pull-to-refresh motion.

- The Music app, again: The band "Space" from Liverpool; the ones who wrote "The Female of the Species", "Dark Clouds" and "Neighbourhood" are NOT the explicit rapper called "Space". They are not the same in any way other than their name. So, the Music app suggesting that I listen to the rapper because I've listened to "Dark Clouds" should not be a thing. Also, when I tap to see the albums for the Liverpudlian band, "Space", I really don't expect to see the albums of the rapper, "Space". How has Apple got this so wrong?!

- AirPods: When I put an AirPod in my ear and it automatically connects to the iPhone, I am able to play something to that AirPod. This is great, but I'd like iOS to NOT randomly disconnect that AirPod seconds after I put the iPhone on my MagSafe charger. Is it too much to ask that these two actions are kept entirely separate?

- The Lock Screen: The infuriating need for my iPhone to change what's playing on the Lock Screen because someone in a different room has asked a HomePod to play something, really needs to stop. What I have opted to play on my iPhone should be displayed on the Lock Screen. Just because someone in a different room has used a HomePod, does NOT mean I want my iPhone to show THAT. I have to go into the AirPlay settings and "Control Other Speakers & TVs" to get back to what should be there by default. This is the most annoying thing Apple did in iOS 14. They need to fix this.

- The Home Screen: Moving a widget shouldn't completely rearrange the icons on my Home pages. Getting it how you want is now a matter of trial and error rather than a designed flow. Terrible UX.

- Podcasts: Gods, please just fix this. Why are you listing podcasts by the date I subscribed to them?! Who does that?!

EDIT: Added paragraphs in for the hard of reading.

Just hope they remove that annoying “back-to-previous-app-button” that sometimes appears in the top left corner. So annoying and I always hit i by accident… feels like it’s a leftover from before you could swipe between apps
