Quite possible. I mean I can't hear it until I put my ear to the camera, and who's doing that I suppose. Some guy on reddit says he also hears it on his S22 and it’s to do with optical image stabilisation?

Hard reset fixed this for me.Airdrop is not working through contacts you have to choose other and then whatever the persons phone is named ..seems like everything else is working so far
Didn’t work for me I did the mandatory 3 hard restarts per Craig.. still is under others not from contact list.. Thank you for the tip…Hard reset fixed this for me.

If you sit a wait a minute whatever your GF named her phone it will show up under OTHER then you can send ..but its a no go for contacts…Same. I also can't receive any airdrops from my GF's phone on 16.0, either having her select me from contacts or using the Airdrop button and selecting my phone.
After three restores and setting up as new, my iPhone 14PM is still unable to finish syncing my Music Library. Hopefully we're not waiting for a polished 16.1 release....This particular release seems really plagued by issues… really hoping for a which iOS 16.0.2 to resolve a lot of this.
Try going into the contact and changing their number or email tag to “iPhone” or iCloud.” .. I remember someone saying that solved airdrop issues for them a while agoDidn’t work for me I did the mandatory 3 hard restarts per Craig.. still is under others not from contact list.. Have you installed the newest beta? I’ve seen several reports of this navigation issue with it on the new 14s. Because of that I went on a short journey to check my 14 Pro Max and had no issues at all. But I’m only on 16.0.1.Just drove 10 miles out of my way, relying on my iPhone 14 Pro Max’s Map via CarPlay to lead the way. Was driving with family in the car, paying attention to the road and talking and stuff. Looked at my screen and realized it just wasn’t updating at all.
No, I'm on 16.0.1, and I installed that via Finder before even trying to set it up. I've tried restoring from a backup and setting my phone up as new. No change. In fact, my GPS now shows I live across and down the street.Have you installed the newest beta? I’ve seen several reports of this navigation issue with it on the new 14s. The only hiccup I experienced was having to have 16.0.1 installed during the activation of the phone. But that gave my Apple Watch time to pair itself to the phone while unpairing from my old phone. All went smoothly with little required of me and took just over 30 minutes. So far the only noticeable issue is that when restarting the phone I get the password request for the AppleID that is used for media and app purchases. Otherwise this has been as smooth as could be.
Sorry that really is frustrating. I do everything OTA and haven’t had any issues. No, I'm on 16.0.1, and I installed that via Finder before even trying to set it up. There is definitely an issue but it’s odd. From my 14 Pro Max on 16.0.1 using Airdrop the phone sees my wife’s 12 on iOS 16. But when tapping the icon it says waiting but nothing appears on my wife’s phone so it can never complete. But it does appear on her iPad Pro on 15.7 and will open up on it.
Are you on 16.0.1 or 16.1 beta? I actually had to downgrade from 16.1 beta to resolve this issue on my 14PM. Wouldn't update for very long periods of time but seemed to want to update when I was slowing down and then came to a stop at a light.Just drove 10 miles out of my way, relying on my iPhone 14 Pro Max’s Map via CarPlay to lead the way. Pulled over and realized we were WAY off course and now late for our dinner reservation. It seemed fine on the way home, though.
I’m also still waiting for my Apple Music library to finish syncing. This is one of the worst iPhone launches I’ve experienced in a long time, if ever. And that’s including odd restores that took days and all the other oddball issues that have come up since I’ve owned the first iPhone. Maybe we all just get used to things working out of the box.

Speculation is that 16.1 broke something on how the phone chooses and locks satellites between the 2 bands that the 14 Pro's can use.
