That's not full, that's the battery icon. Not sure why anyone thinks its at 100% when it clearly says 65.

Hah. As if…You're a good man. Where's the beer voucher button? 🍻
Kind of like profiles on the photo app, or a more sensible approach to an AOD on older devices. It's mostly about the AMOLED more than it is the refresh rate. This whole thing is so bizarre. There is no reasonable explanation for why Apple limited this to certain models.
Agreed. I was super pissed seeing this news. This whole thing is so bizarre. There is no reasonable explanation for why Apple limited this to certain models.

Sure that’s why 😂😂😂Apple caves after macrumors backlash
It’s all about this battery indicator being added to phones which previously were abandoned by Apple even when XR or 11 had notch.Worked on the X from day 1.
I’ve had a similar problem with the playback “widget” on the Lock Screen, where after I stop playing music, a blank box remains. I believe that was beta 4.Agreed. I was super pissed seeing this news.
BUT .. there is no reasonable explanation for this either on the minis:
Exactly. So it's a weird anomalyIt’s all about this battery indicator being added to phones which previously were abandoned by Apple even when XR or 11 had notch.
Daniel sounds like he has no clue about Tech.
Sowow. Much wow indeed. No reason why my 13 mini can’t display battery like every other phone. It even has a higher PPI density than the new 14. I thought this was almost as stupid as STILL not letting us arrange our icons the way we want. I’m still astounded that it’s not possible without some kind of janky hack today.
Hmm. interesting, glad I was not the only one. Speaking of playing music app via lock screen widget iOS 16 removes the volume control Arrgh 'Whyyyyyyyyyy?!'I’ve had a similar problem with the playback “widget” on the Lock Screen, where after I stop playing music, a blank box remains. Well, yes, but that's not much of a problem for me, as my thumb's always right there to hit the physical volume buttons.Speaking of playing music app via lock screen widget iOS 16 removes the volume control Arrgh 'Whyyyyyyyyyy?!'
This was in the 16.0 update for iPhones X, XS, 11 Pro/Max, 12/Pro/Max, and 13/Pro/Max. 16.1 adds it for iPhones XR, 11, and the 12/13 minis.I'm on IOS 16.0 and I have the battery value indicator. It's not a 16.1 update feature.
Apparently you have not read the title correctly.I'm on IOS 16.0 and I have the battery value indicator. It's not a 16.1 update feature.
I thought that was just my phone. I asked a coworker if his did the same and he said no.16.1 cannot come soon enough. iMessages super glitchy...Cant delete messages, sometimes messages just come through with phone number and not contact information.
