Either way they are not doing it idly. They don’t send out messages to everyone who posts feedback. And it says that they think they got it fixed and need you to confirm that it worked.

iOS 16.1 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Either way they are not doing it idly. They don’t send out messages to everyone who posts feedback. And it says that they think they got it fixed and need you to confirm that it worked.
If you are comfortable reverting back to 16.0.1, have the time to do so if needed and can stand to potentially lose critical functionality until you revert back, then go ahead. But if you can’t answer “yes” to all three questions, then I would hold off.
As of this morning, my iPad Pro (2018) on this latest beta is no longer charging when connected to my Mac mini. I'm using the same Apple Branded USB-C cable I've been using, and even tried another cable. If I can find the power supply I'll try just plugging it in, but so far a reboot hasn't helped.
I'm also still unable to get my iPhone 14 Pro Max to finish syncing my Library in the Music App. I've tried restoring my phone from a backup (FIVE TIMES NOW), and even setting it up as new. I've tried turning off syncing my Music Library, waiting a couple hours, turning back on.. I've even tried turning off sync and deleting the Music App and waiting until Morning to reinstall and try again. No Change. I Filed FB11541646 for this...
I haven't used the phone in CarPlay yet to see this reported issue, but this morning my Maps app in CarPlay was stuttering and like jumping back/forth by just enough to make it seem like it was having the Camera issue lol

For me it is. I was experiencing lag when minimizing apps on ios 16. That went away with beta 2.
UGH! Plugging in with the same Apple Power Adapter & Cable I've been using with this iPad for a while now, does nothing. I plug my iPhone 14 Pro Max in with the same cable and it starts charging right away.
Double grrr-- false alarm.. Yet another reboot fixed that.

For the power, I was going to suggest a hard reboot, that fixed it for me in a 16.0 beta, but you got it.
Regarding the music, I suggest device to device transfer over restore, it copies the music.
For most people here, beta 2 fixed the maps stuttering issue, are you using beta 1 or 2?
I'm on beta 2, and my Music Library should just sync down along with my Photos Library and Messages, etc. That's how it's historically been. And I did initially try a phone to phone transfer but that failed. I've since had to turn the old iPhone 12 Pro back in to AT&T, so that's not an option anymore.
I'm currently restoring again, but this time from Finder using the b2 .ipsw file, and trying from my M1 MBP as opposed to my Intel Mac mini. Which, really shouldn't matter because I'm not actually restoring any of my data from either computer. Just the restore process. But I'm just going to let my phone sit there for a while and not mess with it until all of the data's downloaded and I get the confirmation the restore's finished.

I'm running iOS 16. No beta at the moment. Since the last iOS update it seems like Safari reloads every time I switch between pages, or even just if I open another app.

yes beta.... thanks... never had any major issues with being a consumer beta tester until this round.... it wouldn't be so bad if my car had GPS but since I rely solely on my phone for maps it is a big issue, luckily I still have my 12 I can hotspot and use for the next week or so before I need to send it in.
Got a big problem. When I try and re-download the beta profile the button for dl is greyed out and says 'ios devices required for download' Halp!
if you are using an ipad make sure you have selected the tab for iPadOS. for some reason for me it always goes to macos when I first go to the download page
