I don’t know if it’s the new iPhone beta or the new AudioOS beta that’s also out tonight but now 2 of my 3 HomePods say they can’t connect to Wi-Fi yet the work with Siri and okay music both using hey siri or from my iPhone fine

I keep getting a check for update error. Anyone else?

Edit: it was because I didn’t have the beta profile installed on my iPhone 14 pro max when I transferred everything over. Works now

Not had a flickering display on my 12, ever.

Might be hardware.
Hmm strange. Definitely software related for me since I rolled back to iOS 15.7 and it’s no longer doing it. Seems to be somewhat hit or miss with different folks I’ve talked with. Common issue on Reddit though for both the betas and even public release.

I think they mean they won't need to buy a new iPad :)

On re-reading, I think you’re right. My bad!

I’m still going to upgrade my 2018. 64GB’s doesn’t cut it anymore. But adding Stage manager doesn’t appear to be impacting performance (I’m typing this with 3 visible windows open and this one semi-minimized).

On a general note: I don’t want to hear how Apple doesn’t listen to feedback during the betas. Last year, they corrected the Safari mess. Not too hard; simply adjusting software. This year, they’ve now added a tent-pole feature to devices they claimed were inadequate to handle it.

They do listen. They don’t always get it right but they do listen.

Have you tried reinstalling the iOS with IPSW file?

Not had any flickering ever. Have always installed with IPSW files though. That’s why I asked if you’ve done a reinstall, as that process can really clear up a lot of glitches/bugs.

Fantastical’s widget works fine and has throughout.
Fantastical Certainly hasn’t for me on my 12 Pro Max. Just constantly No Events shown on Lock Screen even when I most definitely have events & tasks.

Fantastical Lock Screen widgets have not worked for me since iOS 16.1 Beta 1 On my 12 Pro Max. Regardless of how many events or tasks I have for that day my Lock Screen widget just says No Events.
